  • XZRS: WILLIAM BRONSON - How To Get To Heaven
Will Bronson received his pilot training in the U.S Navy in the early sixties in Pensacola, Florida. After five years in the Navy he joined Northeast Airlines, and then Delta Airlines for a twenty-five year career in the airlines. During that time he ran for U.S. Congress four times and earned two Masters degrees, one in education and the other in theology. After retiring in 1991, he continued his studies and recently earned a Doctor of Ministry degree from the Episcopal Divinity School in Cambridge, Massachusetts. He has established a non-profit organization that is encouraging the cultivation of the Moringa Tree in the developing world and experimenting with alternative power especially the fractionalization of water in to hydrogen and oxygen gases to provide electricity to remote areas. His latest project is the book: How to Get to Heaven According to the Teachings of Jesus. In it Bronson offers a new look at the gospel and some onerous theological concepts from the middle ages that he believes need to be reconsidered, such as the idea that hell consists of eternal conscious torment and that only Christians go to heaven. - www.BronsonEnterprisesLLC.com

  • XZRS: X MINUS ONE - 1955 Episode -3 - The Parade
X Minus One was a half-hour science fiction radio series broadcast from April 24, 1955 to January 9, 1958 in various timeslots on NBC. Initially a revival of NBC's Dimension X (1950-51), X Minus One is widely considered among the finest science fiction dramas ever produced for radio. The first 15 episodes were new versions of Dimension X episodes, but the remainder were adaptations by NBC staff writers, including Ernest Kinoy and George Lefferts, of newly published science fiction stories by leading writers in the field, including Isaac Asimov, Ray Bradbury, Philip K. Dick, Robert A. Heinlein, Frederik Pohl and Theodore Sturgeon along with some original scripts by Kinoy and Lefferts. Episodes of the show include adaptations of Robert Sheckley's "Skulking Permit," Bradbury's "Mars Is Heaven," Heinlein's "Universe" and "The Green Hills of Earth", " Pohl's "The Tunnel under the World," J. T. McIntosh's "Hallucination Orbit," Fritz Leiber's "A Pail of Air" and George Lefferts' "The Parade." The series was canceled after the 126th broadcast on January 9, 1958. However, the early 1970s brought a wave of nostalgia for old-time radio; a new experimental episode, "The Iron Chancellor" by Robert Silverberg, was created in 1973, but it failed to revive the series. NBC also tried broadcasting the old recordings, but their irregular once-monthly scheduling kept even devoted listeners from following the broadcasts. All episodes of the show survive.

  • XZRS: MAUREEN CAUDILL - Suddenly Psychic: A Skeptic's Journey
As she bent a metal spoon with her mind, computer scientist Maureen Caudill knew she was witnessing a total violation of the laws of physics-and that her understanding of reality would never be the same. Letting go of the ultra-rational, skeptical perspective she had maintained over a twenty-year scientific career, Caudill joined the 50% of Americans who report having had psychic experiences (National Science Foundation, 2000) and began a firsthand exploration of phenomena like clairvoyance, remote viewing, out of body experiences, channeling, and mediumship. In Suddenly Psychic, she shares her new conviction that paranormal abilities are a normal part of human consciousness and anyone can learn them, using her scientific background to validate and explain her experiences. Combining vivid descriptions of altered states of consciousness with an in-depth look at cutting-edge scientific theories that are consistent with these phenomena, Suddenly Psychic is a reader-friendly bridge between the mysteries of the mind and hard science that speaks to skeptics and believers alike.
