Since David was 9 he has experienced various forms of psychic information. At that age he was answering the phone by greeting the person he knew would be on the other end -- until his father made it quite clear that he'd prefer he stopped since it was unnerving to those calling the house! So many interesting and unusual events from then until now (he's 61) have occurred in his life which confused him or saved him, that it would not be practical to try to tell you about all of them. When he was in his early 20's he prayed to God for roots. David felt he needed stability in his life and specifically asked for "roots". Just a few short moments after that prayer he met my future wife, whose maiden name was Root! (They'll be celebrating our 37th anniversary later this year.).So, over the years psychic experiences occurred from time to time, but he didn't really understand them or, for that matter, want them. In 1980 he was working at a funeral home while he was a graduate student, and the psychic gift "flared up"! One evening he received a call and at the end of the conversation he said, "I don't understand why, but I believe I know everything about you." The woman on the phone then asked him several questions, all of which he answered correctly. Well, that had been interesting but David didn't think it signified anything special. In the morning when his shift was over he went across the street to a grocery store and while in line he observed the cashier and just knew she was upset my something. When she rang up his items and put the change in his hand, he looked at her and said, "Your brother who is in a hospital in Wisconsin will be okay." She looked at David and -- screamed -- and started crying!! Everyone thought a robbery was being committed. After that particular excitement died down (and yes, her brother was in a hospital in Wisconsin and she had told no one locally about it), there followed about a two week period of overwhelming psychic information coming to him. he could feel the pain and feelings of people wherever he went.

Jim Starry sees himself as a different kind of entrepreneur. "I'm trying to make money to save the planet," he says. Starry has bought, sold and rented houses in Colorado, Nebraska and Illinois for three decades and used the profits and related interest income to fund an airport design business that he believes can solve two global problems. His revolutionary design aims to efficiently handle an expected huge increase in air travel and dramatically reduce air pollution. Thousands of airports will need to be expanded, or built, to handle the Federal Aviation Administration's projected 45% increase in flights by 2020. And the growth, government agencies say, will generate more pollution, already a serious airport problem.

Kevin Sweeney knows pressure. Once when flying a mission, his plane hit an air pocket and was sent into what's called a Dutch Roll, which consists of an out-of-phase combination of "tail-wagging" and rocking from side to side. "I'll never forget the words of my crew member who went to check on the left wing engines when I asked him to see if they were on fire," Sweeney said. "He said, 'They aren't on fire. They're gone.'" Sweeney's first impulse was fear, but in a split second, another instinct took over. "I heard a little voice in me telling me to forget the fear and just work on getting out of it the way I was taught," he said. "It's easy to give in to panic and anxiety, but the secret is to gather your wits and focus on the best outcome, instead of spiraling downward contemplating the worst outcome." All four airmen on the plane received the Distinguished Flying Cross Medal, and Sweeney has gone on to a career as a successful executive, speaker and consultant. His knowledge of inflight emergencies is insightful for pilots and passengers alike, and the lessons learned from his life in the Air Force can be applied to most every element of our daily lives. Kevin Sweeney is a Lt. Colonel in the United States Air Force Air National Guard, a professional speaker and consultant, as well as author of the book Pressure Cooker Confidence, How to Lead When the Heat is On by BookSurge (www.sweeneyspeaks.com). He was a combat pilot in both Viet Nam and Desert Storm, and awarded the United States Air Force Distinguished Flying Cross, multiple Air Medals, and the Air Achievement Medal along with multiple other medals and awards. Born in Nottingham, England in 1946, Margaret migrated to Australia in 1974 and opened the door to her spiritual path in 1982. "As a child I wish I could say I saw people at the end of the bed, or heard voices, but I did not; I was a late psychic bloomer" Margaret says. After beginning her spiritual and metaphysical training in her mid-thirties, she became highly sought after for her accurate readings and spiritual teaching. In meditation she was given her highly successful Master of Metaphysics course which has graduated over 200 students from five continents. For over a decade she was the regular magazine and newspaper clairvoyant for nearly a dozen publishing houses and hosted syndicated radio shows on over 30 stations in New Zealand, Australia, and the United States. Margaret has been a deep trance channel for her spiritual mentor and teacher, Maitreya, since 1992. The website (www.maitreya-edu.org) she founded in 1996 with Maitreya has over 3 million hits per month from over 130 countries around the world and grows each day with those searching for metaphysical information. "There has never been such a thirst for metaphysical knowledge" Margaret says. In June 1999, Margaret spoke in deep trance channel to The Society for Enlightenment and Transformation, a large spiritual group within the United Nations in New York, and was informed a few months later that her speech was deemed the best ever to be held at the United Nations group. She says that to be asked to address this group of many important people was a very special honor and is one of the highlights of her career.
