Peter Robbins is one of America’s most respected UFO investigative writers. He’s been involved in the field for more than thirty-five years, as a researcher, investigator, writer, lecturer, activist, conference organizer, documentary producer and author. A regular fixture on US and UK radio, he has written for numerous online and print publications both here and abroad and appeared as a guest on and been consultant to numerous television programs and documentaries.

Peter was a founding member of Budd Hopkins’ Intruders Foundation and worked as Hopkins’ assistant for many years. In 1998, he founded the groundbreaking news website UFOcity.com and served as it’s editor-in-chief through to its conclusion in 2004. From 2007 until 2010 he was a consultant to the City of Roswell NM and coordinator of their annual UFO symposium. In 2013 he was made a member of the French Académie d'Ufologie and that same year invited to give testimony at the Citizen’s Hearings on Disclosure held at the National Press Club, Washington, D.C. Robbins was Event Coordinator for the SCI FI Channel’s ‘Alien Abduction Phenomenon: A Symposium, organized to promote the release of the Steven Spielberg miniseries ‘Taken,’ and is an Associate Producer of the award-winning documentary, “Travis: The True Story of Travis Walton.”

Peter Robbins was born in New York City and holds a BFA (painting, film history) from the city’s School of Visual Arts where he taught painting for more than a dozen years. He has traveled extensively, is an experienced New York City touring guide, and an accomplished photographer.

Don Schmitt resides in his native Wisconsin on a 45-acre ranch located just outside of Milwaukee in Hubertus. He has a bachelor’s degree from Concordia University and has taken graduate courses in criminal justice at St. John’s University. He has worked for the US Postal Service for the past 23 years. He has also worked as a freelance medical and commercial illustrator. He is the former Director of Special Investigations and co-director for the J. Allen Hynek Center for UFO Studies. He teamed with me in 1988 to investigate the Roswell UFO Crash which resulted in two books which were used to the ShowTime original movie Roswell. He later teamed with Tom Carey and the two of them collaborated on a number of UFO books with Roswell as the main theme. He had appeared on dozens of television shows and hundreds of radio programs. He and his wife, Marie, have been married for five years.

It ceased publication in 1999. "Wake Up Down There!," which anthologized many of the articles and features, was published in 2000 by Adventures Unlimited.

Greg’s second book was "Project Beta: The Story of Paul Bennewitz, National Security, and the Creation of a Modern UFO Myth" (2005 Simon & Schuster/ Pocket Books) which documented a government campaign of disinformation perpetrated against an unsuspecting U.S. citizen. "Weird California," a portrait of strange and eerie history and places in the Golden State, was released by Sterling Publishers and Barnes & Noble in 2006. Greg contributed about 75% of the material and photos.

Francis Ridge - Headed 7-man investigation team in Indiana for the National Investigations Committee on Aeria] Phenomena, designated Indiana Unit No. 1.

In 1972 he accepted position of State¬ Section Director, MUFON while in Hillsboro, Illinois, continued geographical studies of the 9-¬state area under GDR project.

In 1973 he set up research and investigation team under MUFON as State¬ Section Director for Posey, Vanderburg, & Gibson counties. Continued GDR until end of year which included the massive 1973 sighting wave, set up "saucer grapevine" with scattered observers, police, sheriff, and state police, airport control towers and Civil Defense in the tri¬-county area with a monthly bulletin and a published telephone number and media coverage. Station designated as the UFO FILTER CENTER.

Obtained his first computer in 1986 and continued work on his computer database which listed over 4,000 entries for the region covering Missouri, Illinois, Indiana, Ohio, Kentucky & Tennessee. Became Indiana's MUFON State Director and FI for the Center for UFO Studies. Set up State Section Directors (SD's) and trained and tested 150 potential field investigators in Indiana's 92 counties. The Indiana group rapid deployment team consisted of approximately 30 active FI's throughout this period. Ridge investigated hundreds of cases.

He re-opened Mantell case of January 1947, completed report and book in 2008 with the help of Jean Waskiewicz, Dan Wilson & Brad Sparks. Two years later he wrote the report for that re-investigation The Mantell Incident: The Anatomy of an Investigation / A 60-year-old cover-up.

Rob Swaitek has a degree in physics and spent his career at the US Patent and Trademark Office working on intellectual properties in a number of areas including aeronautics and astronautics.

His UFO involvement goes back to 1968 during what he called his larval stage, when the ongoing sightings and the University Colorado UFO study permanently nailed his attention. Once he arrived in the Washington, D.C. area, he joined the Fund for UFO Research and was subsequently elected to the executive committee. Around 2006, as the Fund wound down due to the rise of the Internet and other factors, he was asked to join MUFON’s Board of Directors and continues to serve there.

I should note that although the Fund still exists it is largely dormant.

Ben Moss and Tony Angiola - Socorro Update

Ben has been interested in UFOs most of his life. He has been a MUFON Investigator since the 90's and is currently the Chief Field Investigator for VA. He is a speaker and appears on season 2 of the History Channel Hangar 1 show as well as NASA's Unexplained Files and various radio talk shows. As a MUFON investigator, Ben has also studied such diverse disciplines as history, archaeology, physics, astronomy, and religion, among other sciences to better understand and investigate UFOs.

Tony is the Assistant State Director VA and a member of the rapid deployment Star. Tony has a background in Information Technology and has been studying UFOs since the early 90s. He became an investigator in 1999 and has lived in Northern VA for over 20 years. As technology progresses, Tony hopes to be able to bring new evidence to light with the goal of one day explaining more scientifically the various forms of propulsion that appear in photographs and are found in different types of evidence left behind by strange phenomena.

Jan Harzan is the Executive Director of MUFON. He’s been a member of that organization for a very long time and has worked at administration of MUFON for many years. His interest in UFOs was inspired by his one sighting, and that not only sparked an interest in UFOs, but also his life work.

Irena (McCammon) Scott is an American author and physiologist. She received a BS from The Ohio State University, an MS from the University of Nevada, and a PhD from the University of Missouri in the Department of Veterinary Medicine. Her post-doctoral studies were done at Cornell University.

She has been employed as an Assistant Professor (Department of Biology) at St. Bonaventure University, and has done research and teaching at the Ohio State University, the University of Missouri, the University of Nevada, and at Battelle Memorial Institute. She was a correspondent for Popular Mechanics magazine, with articles appearing in the "Technology Update" and "Science" sections. Scott has also worked as a volunteer astronomer at The Ohio State University Radio Telescope in Delaware, Ohio. She is the author of six books and has contributed chapters and articles to numerous scientific journals, magazines, and newspapers.
