She came from a family that regularly experienced the extraordinary and so came to be comfortable with reality of the seemingly impossible. She currently lives in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains with her husband and two children. Professionally, she has a neurofeeback practice which focuses primarily on brain injury and mood disorders.

Long time MUFON board member Tom Whitmore had been a San Antonio Texas resident since 1984. Originally from Tulsa, Tom graduated with a degree in business administration from Portland State University and had a career in the financial industry since the 1970’s. He was most recently employed as a financial analyst with a local firm in San Antonio where he retired in 2019. He is an accomplished guitarist and has a daughter who is a pre-school teacher. Tom was invited to join the MUFON board in 1995 and experienced the organization’s progress through the successive administrations of Walt Andrus, John Schuessler, James Carrion, Clifford Clift, Dave McDonald and Jan Harzan. He serves as Treasurer and focuses on long term and strategic issues for the organization. Tom has been fascinated by military and intelligence agencies’ interactions with the UFO public. He has undertaken a research study of the history of the MJ12 affair, and intends to eventually publish his findings. He participates in discussions of the MJ12 topic by giving presentations to local UFO groups, appearing on Internet Podcasts and Radio Shows, and by communicating in social media. Thornton D. "TD" Barnes, author and entrepreneur, grew up on a ranch at Dalhart, Texas. He graduated from Mountain View High School in Oklahoma and embarked on a ten-year military career. He served as an Army intelligence specialist in Korea and then continued his education while in the US Army, attending two and a half years of missile and radar electronics by day and college courses at night. Barnes deployed with the first combat Hawk missile battalion during the Soviet Iron Curtain threat before attending the Artillery Officer Candidate School, where an injury ended his military career. During his extensive professional career, Barnes was a field engineer at the NASA High Range in Nevada for the X-15, XB-70, lifting bodies and lunar landing vehicles; working on the NERVA project at Jackass Flats, Nevada. He was a member of a special projects team at Area 51 for the Central Intelligence Agency. Barnes later formed a family oil and gas exploration company, drilling and producing oil and gas and mining uranium and gold. Barnes is currently the CEO of Startel, Inc., a landowner, and is actively mining a quarry for landscape rock and gold in Nevada. He is the president of Roadrunners Internationale, an association of Area 51 veterans, and is the executive director of the Nevada Aerospace Hall of Fame. Two National Geographic Channel documentaries feature Barnes: Area 51 Declassified and CIA--Secrets of Area 51. A Texas oil worker claims to have captured extraordinary evidence of alien life, alleging that photographs he took during an encounter with a UFO depict an extraterrestrial craft with a clearly visible pilot. The photos which have been viewed show nothing when seen by professional UFO investigators. Ronny Dawson works as an oil tanker driver, and encountered the strange UFO in 2011. Working near a set of oil tanks at night, Dawson spotted the craft as it moved over a nearby stand of trees, before its lights went out. He claims that the aliens ransacked his house the night after he pointed a small lecturer laser at their UFO. He did not call authorities, nor did he take any photos. He claims that he saw a ½ mile by ½ mile, by ½ mile UFO from a distance of ½ a mile, clearly seeing a city on the UFO – with lights on it. Again no photographic evidence to support the claim. He did not call authorities. He claims that two female extraterrestrials appeared to him in his bedroom and explained their presence. Again, no evidence or photos. The sightings and encounters started in 1911.
