The 'X' Zone Radio/TV Show

There can be little doubt that our twenty-first century civilization is facing economic, ecological and spiritual meltdown. In this intriguing new book, Lucy Wyatt takes a highly original and relevant look at just what we can do to reverse this very real and potentially disastrous situation. The product of some ten years of comprehensive and passionate research, Approaching Chaos urges us to take a good look way back beyond those societies always admired as the first civilized examples, to re-think accepted accounts and concepts of history and go back over 5,000 years to focus on the Bronze Age civilizations. Nearly always considered to be both primitive and pagan, Lucy Wyatt reveals them to be in many ways extraordinarily sophisticated, well-rounded and highly successful infrastructures that combine the spiritual and the practical. She ardently believes that from them the ancient Greeks and Romans actually learnt and, even more pertinently, we can learn a tremendous amount that has been disregarded for far too long. In taking a fresh look at, amongst other things, the origins of farming and urbanisation, the extraordinary way that the Egyptians used metaphysics, ultrasound and alchemy, the rise of Monotheistic religion and Christianity, Lucy Wyatt presents a brave and compelling over-view of ancient history. Approaching Chaos challenges long accepted thinking on the origins of civilization and uncovers many illuminating insights into how we could help ourselves today. - http://www.approachingchaos.co.uk/

Neil van Nostrand has always loved domestic animals, and wildlife and Nature. Growing up on the family farm in southern Ontario during the Second World War, he had ample opportunity to study all three. Adult life took him to the Ontario Agriculture College, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in Agriculture (agronomy), then a Master of Science in Wildlife Management. In 1958 he moved his small family to Nova Scotia's Annapolis Valley. For 25 years he did management-research on the Province's wild furbearing animals for the then Department of Lands and Forests. Specializing in beavers, he learned valuable insights into population dynamics and the behaviour of mammals under stress in different habitats. These insights apply just as well to our increasingly crowded planet. Following retirement in 1985, he and his present spouse, Erica Garrett, pursued biodynamic organic farming for nine years, raising livestock, winter storage vegetables and many fruits including apples. In 2006 the Atlantic Canadian Organic Network (ACORN) presented Neil with the Gerrit Loo Award in recognition of his contribution to organic agriculture. Neil is still attached to the land, and to his three sons and one daughter, and to their children. His days are filled with walking, running, hunting, fur-trapping, gardening and tending three bee hives.

Robert Bauval was born in Egypt in 1948. He studied construction engineering in England and subsequently worked in the Middle East and Africa till 1985. In 1994 he published The Orion Mystery, which was a No1 bestseller and now translated in more than 25 languages. He also wrote Keeper of Genesis (in 1996 with Graham Hancock), which was also a No.1 bestseller, and now in more than 20 languages. He lives in Spain with his wife Michele. Hancock and Bauval have teamed up yet again to investigate the murky origins of the conflict haunting us today: the inevitable 'clash of civilizations' between the Islamic and the Western worlds. The conclusions are as riveting as they are shocking: a covert 'master game' that has been played undetected over two millennial by powerful forces causing endless genocides and destruction and, if not properly understood, could drawn the world into an 'armageddon' of devastating proportion. What is the Master Game? Who is playing it? And what is the prize? - http://www.robertbauval.co.uk/

Thomas Razzeto has a degree in Electrical Engineering with an emphasis in computer programming. This education also provided a solid background in science including physics and chemistry. About 3 years ago, Thomas became interested in 2012 after attending a public lecture about science and myth. As part of the lecture, the topic of 2012 was presented but not in a very clear way. He started to do his own research and quickly found the work of John Major Jenkins and the galactic alignment. But this galactic alignment already happened in 1998 so Thomas spent months digging and search for the real reason that the Maya picked the exact day of the winter solstice of 2012. After 2 years of research and contemplation, Thomas wrote a book titled: Mystical 2012: Did the Maya Shamans Discover a Mystical View of Reality? www.2012essays.com and www.mystical2012.com.
