Gary Robertson has invested several decades in traditional and non-traditional modalities concerning mental and physical health and healing. He has been director of a non-profit organization, Springs Foundation, that uses Energy Psychology and Energy Medicine, developing programs that provide extraordinary benefit to clients seeking relief from a wide range of difficulties. Robertson became interested in the human potential movement of the late 1960's, beginning with encounter groups. Two important themes from that era found deep roots within him: authenticity and experiential applicability. To proclaim ability and methodology with helping people change, the helper must be the product of the process that s/he professes. Most therapists are adept with talking, but the few walking the talk are worth finding. Robertson studied with some of the best, including the subject of his book, Adventures with Master Leeney, and personally experienced the work that is documented in his latest book, Genuine Being. During the 1970s, Robertson immersed himself in transformational therapies that proved beyond doubt that mental illnesses, as well as lesser issues, are accessible to true healing-not simply symptom management in long term therapies or attempting to mask them with medications. Issues like schizophrenia, alcoholism, major depression, as well as lesser kinds that plague us normal folk, were curable back then-and still are. Only now it is much easier and quicker using 21st century methodologies based on Energy Psychology and Energy Medicine. - www.genuinebeing.com

On March 6, 2004, Thomas Pierce, his wife, JoAnn, and his daughter Lisa were on the water taxi that overturned in Baltimore's Inner Harbor. He lost both of them that day. Pierce's account of the accident and the letter to Lisa written by one of the reservists that rescued her give the reader a grim understanding of what that day was like. But this is not a book about the accident-this is a book about the power of love. Love as we know it and understand it, and love that goes beyond our understanding. This is a book Pierce never intended to write, but he felt compelled to share the things that carried him through this tragedy and all the signs that helped him move on with his life. It is truly a celebration of two lives that will go on forever. Once you have read this book you will find yourself passing it on to friends and family, so that they too can share the experience of the power of love. - www.thelastrose.com

T. Lee Baumann of Birmingham is an author, lecturer and doctor in internal medicine and geriatrics. His first book, God at the Speed of Light, inspired the TV series "Joan of Arcadia." Baumann has also appeared in two Grizzly Adams documentaries and an upcoming documentary for Alabama Public TV on the near-death experience. In Matter to Mind to Consciousness, Baumann first educates readers on the functions of the brain and neuroanatomy. He then shares his findings with brain radio waves in the E.L.F. (extremely low frequency) range that could possibly explain mental telepathy, conscious thought, dreams, déjà vu, instinct, mental illness and near-death experiences. "I then explain the latest medical technologies and how medical advances reveal that our infinitesimally weak brainwave activity travels into space and survives traversing the globe many times over before dying out," he says. "I suggest that the brainwave activity of all humankind - even God and dead spirits - is accessible to everyone." - http://www.google.com/profiles/tleebaumann

Ken Unger didn't set out to become America's Soul Doctor. By the age of thirty he had been a pastor for five years and a husband for three and he was burning out on both. That's when a spiritual retreat transformed his life forever. A profoundly nurturing community of genuine love and healing showed him how much lives could be helped in a short period of time. Experiential exercises, vulnerable authentic teachers and deep, intimate relationships transformed him in ways that prescription drugs, education and traditional counseling never could. When he got home, people asked him to offer similar retreats for friends and colleagues. He never imagined the powerful impact his retreats made on virtually everyone who attended. Now, almost 30 years later, he still offers life-changing Retreats to any who want to "transform their life in a weekend." People who attend have likened them to a health spa for the soul. As he progressed on his own spiritual growth and healing journey his Retreats also evolved. To the basic Spiritual Growth Retreat he added a Becoming Childlike Retreat, an Inner Journey Retreat and in recent years a Spiritual Healing Retreat. Each level goes deeper into the psyche; each produces wonderful changes in virtually all who attend. Therapists say they are worth a year in therapy. As Ken learned to heal the psychic pain that almost destroyed his own life, people sought him out for their own personal healing. This birthed his amazing healing process known as STEP Therapy, Spiritual Therapy for Emotional Pain. His new book The Ultimate Breakthrough explains this simple, gentle, yet powerful healing process. Instead of treating symptoms in endless months and years of emotional archeological digs it heals the primal pain that fuels most of our problems. When clients wanted to treat depression without drugs, he developed Seminars like Peace without Prozac. To train businesses for better interpersonal skills, he designed Improving Your Emotional IQ. As relationships crumbled he designed Metamorphosis to teach people the skills that make relationships thrive. When companies struggled with dysfunction in the workplace, he started the Healed at Work Conferences. Perhaps what has most rewarding is the many people Ken talks to many years after attending his events who tell him they were a true watershed in their own spiritual growth, healing and development that five, ten, 20 years later they are still different as a result of one retreat or seminar. - www.TransformationIncorporated.com
