A lighter news week but still an interesting one as we see the release of the Steam Deck, and Guardians of the Galaxy comes to GamePass. Playstation owners are getting their fill with Horizon, Elden Ring, and now Gran Turismo 7 coming out as a great racing game. While Xbox fans are looking forward to more content for Halo Infinite they will have to live with Elden Ring as their current go-to for what's hot on the Xbox. It seems silly to say so considering Elden Ring is the highest-rated game of the year and selling a ton. This week we saw the launch of Elden Ring which came out to rave reviews. It's an amazing game and if you love FromSoftware there's no reason you shouldn't pick this up. Destiny 2 Witch Queen also launched and is an awesome expansion that allows lapsed players to come back and be at the same level as all the other Guardians playing. We finally got good luck at the PS VR2 headset and I'm really hopeful for this hardware and its chances at releasing this year. Lots of random bits of news this week to bring you up to date with, the biggest probably being Call of Duty and other Activision Blizzard games will remain multiplatform. Good news for Call of Duty fans on Playstation. Nintendo had a Direct this week which brought with it a host of new first-party games but also some third-party games that will be coming to Xbox and Playstation.
