Saylorville Young Adults is excited to take a YA team to Brazil and partner with missionaries Lucas and Teresa Bair. Matthew 28:19 says, "Go and make disciples of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and the Holy Spirit." YA is on mission to "Go" and develop a heart for the nations and unreached.
This conversation is our directors letting us in on some of the details of the upcoming trip and the heart behind it. You'll learn lots about the upcoming trip through this conversation but more importantly you'll be left with the question: Will you pray about going?

We long to be so captivated by Jesus that in whatever He brings into our life we choose to give Him all the glory. He is all we have. He is all we need. He is ALWAYS working. In this talk, we encourage, challenge and speak directly to young adults to make the most of the season we are in - all for HIS glory.
Interested in hanging out with Saylorville YA? Check us out here. YA NITE is hosted at Saylorville Church (DSM, IA) the third Thursday of every month during the fall and spring semester. Come join us if you're a young adult!

What is your first response when a boss gives you feedback? How do you handle it when a friend or community group leader gives you a word of challenge? We all handle receiving criticism on a daily level. The question is: are we doing it well? Do we look like Jesus when faced with criticism?
Here's our outline for today's conversation:
Humility listens. Pride Pushes. Get your notes out because there is some real good practical stuff in this conversation as well as some real truth as to how the Word of God informs this conversation.

Is God pleased with your heart when we talk about alcohol? Our prayer is that this conversation will help give you a solid foundation and a biblical premise to look at your own heart. We know this doesn't come close to speaking to every topic surrounding alcohol...but it's a great start!

There are many young adults who are newly married or planning to get married and we love having them around in the YA community. They are so needed!! Mark and Laura Fincham lead one of our YA Community Groups that are specifically for this demographic and this week we get to hear from them. They are so cool. They have so much wisdom to share for EVERY young adult so don't miss this one.

Are you someone who comes from a divorced home? Do you have friends who are from a divorced family? Chances are, the answer is yes. Our guest on this week's episode is someone who has parents that are divorced and their divorce actually led to her salvation! She helps us think through what it is like to have divorced parents and how God can use it for good. Make time for this episode in your week. You won't be sad you did.

There may not be a more relevant question than this one. Curtis & Pastor Pat answer one of the many "Ask Us Anything" questions submitted by young adults. We are praying that your hearts are enlarged after this conversation and you walk away encouraged to love people like Jesus. Remember this: There is a seat in this place for you. Below are the links to the sermons referenced in this weeks episode.

The word "Gospel" is something we throw around here in the YA world and at Saylorville Church quite often. Do you ever wonder what the gospel means? Or have you forgotten how the Gospel impacts your daily life? We were pumped to sit down with our Lead Pastor at Saylorville Church to talk about Gospel 101.
