Often we get so caught up in all the eating (consuming of the Word) involved in the church. Nothing wrong with it if we are giving out what we're taking in. If not, we end up becoming complacent lethargic, and stagnant within the Kingdom.

Now that's a bad place to be! Kinda reminds me of lukewarmness if you ask me. So what do we do in order to not always be consuming? WE NEED TO BE GIVING!

The Word of God in our hearts need be conveyed to our world. The lost in our world NEED what we have! MASSIVELY! We have the words of eternal life because we've been fed the Word so much. Why not share it with others?

So share the Word that is in you with at LEAST 1 person today! They need it, it's what we are called to do, and we ave the Word in us! So be like @Nike and, "Just Do It!"

So we are taking another look at the MAJOR downsides of competition in today's TOTD!

It is a literal impossibility to COMPLETELY be fulfilling the will of God in your life if your energy and focus is to building something that outdoes your brother. Trying to make yours bigger, better, larger, accomplished faster, of a higher pedigree, etc. will take away from you doing what the Holy Ghost has called YOU to do!

So the simple answer is: cut the competition! Relinquish the wives tale that competition is in ones nature. That maybe true (and often, people do have competitive personality types) but the Bible still calls people so submit themselves (and their personality types) to the Word of God

So drop competition like a hot sack of coals, pray blessings upon your brother or sister, and do what the Holy Ghost has called YOU to do!

Here's a 2 part, same-subject TOTD for you guys today!

If you're a normal teenager or young adult, romance and love are one of the TOP priorities in life right now. The guys are looking for a lady, and the ladies are looking for a gentleman to spend the rest of their lives with, (Isn't love so beautiful! lol)

And TRUST ME I'm a BIG proponent of love! Buuuuuuut, above being in a relationship with someone here on earth, we have a heavenly relationship that MUST be top priority.

Now, if you're not in a relationship our first priority should be fulfilling the will of God here on earth (See 1 Corinthians 7) and we should be in His timing, not ours.

All that to say; take advantage of your singleness in the years that you are single. There are somethings only you can do as a single person. Things change when you are dating or married. And don't worry, if it's the will of God, he or she will be there after you're done working the work of Jesus...

So find the will of God for you in this season of life! There is a work that only you can fulfill and you need 100% of your energy, focus, and determination to fulfill.

We are living epistles. We are the Bible continued. We are the only expression of Jesus here on this earth. We are to be the light of the world because HE is the Light of the world! Hide it under a bushel? NO! WE MUST LET HIM SHINE!

How do we go about letting our light shine? It's not complicated at all. The short answer; We get SOOOOOOO full of the light, that we can't so anything else BUT shine!

So fill yourself with the Light every single day! Pray, and be filled with the Light. Read the Word of the Light, and be filled with the Light. Deny yourself for the Light, and be filled with the Light. It's that easy!

So you know you're called to preach, but you're not focused on your calling. You are not preparing yourself every day for when the Word of God comes to fruition in your life. If you'll be honest with yourself, you'd say you're dragging your feet.

Now, here's the problem with that buddy boy; it's quite possible that you are not prepared for when the Holy Ghost shows up to use you to preach your first message. If you don't begin preparing now, when will you start? And I can guarantee you that the doors that would've been opened had you started earlier (NOW) won't be opened because you are not prepared.

GOD WILL NOT USE YOU IF YOU'RE NOT PREPARED!!

Now don't worry if you haven't been preparing up until this point. Now you know so START TODAY!! Not tomorrow or in 8 days, but start NOW so that you are prepared when Jesus says, "It's time!"

There are no coincidences with God. You know for sure if today's TOTD was/is for you or not. You know if He brought you to this video or not. If He has, embrace the message of today's TOTD.

I won't restate what I've stated already but I hope you get the message the Holy Ghost is trying to send through today's TOTD. You have no reason to backslide! You have ABSOLUTELY NO EXCUSE!

Nothing can separate us from the love of God except the man or the woman in the mirror. No one is going to backbite us out of the love of God. No one is going to lie us out of the love of God. No one is going to tempt us out of the love of God. We have to willingly forsake Him.

So before you use any excuses of what they did or what she/he said, go back to the truth of what it absolutely boils down to; a relationship between you and Jesus.

I heard it said on too many times. "Aw, that's just what guys do." "We just look at what looks good." Or, "I just tell him, 'you can look, but don't touch.'" And I'm sitting there like, "Yeeeeeeah..." The scripture is explicitly clear about this subject!!" So here are my two cents on it...

If a guy or girl cannot control their eyes and mind from wandering into things that aren't godly, they don't have control over their flesh. Their flesh is dominating their conscious and, instead of MANNING UP and submitting their flesh through prayer, fasting, and a willing mind, they use the lame excuse society has sold them; "Men just look."

According to Jesus (the one they're supposed to be submitted to), if a man looks upon a woman to desire her sexually or non-sexually, he has committed adultery with her within his heart.

Pretty clear right?

So it goes back to submitting your flesh. Yes, men are turned on by what they see and it's tempting to look, but it SURE AIN'T GODLY and SURE AIN'T excusable!

So submit your flesh and don't commit "Heart Adultery"! Even if you try you'll fail because you are a fallen individual, but don't excuse yourself from the standard of the Word of God (sinlessness)!

LOVE YOU ALL!! You'll make it; no worries!

CUT THE COMPETITION! We as Apostolic Pentecostals are brothers and sisters in the Lord and are often anointed by God to do whatever He'a called us to do. This is AMAZING because we have the Creator of the universe and everything that is backing our endeavors!

Now, this is true. So when we begin to try and outdo, 1 up, or compete with our brothers sisters in the Lord, we are liable to end up competing with the Hand/Blessing/Anointing of God!...

Yuuuuuuuuuuuuup... The key is not to get wrapped up in a spirit of competition. It hinders the Will of God in the life of the one who possesses it. It can end up putting us at odds with the Will of God and think, that's probably not a good position to be in...

So pray through the temptation to out perform or compete with you brother of sister, and watch the blessings of God pour out from Heaven into your life!

YOLO! I absolutely ABHORRED this expression when I first heard it, but after dissecting it and pondering the expression further, it hit me! This is a RIDICULOUSLY profound statement!

Instead of doing the average, mundane, following after the flesh, throwing you life away to video games or mindlessness, you only live once, so why not make it to heaven? Why not win souls? Why not do AS MUCH as possible for God by making the BIGGEST POSSIBLE mark on this earth through following His will for your life?

Think about it! You have the opportunity to do WHATEVER He's called you to do. God is infinite. Do you really think in this lifetime you can reach His limits? HE HAS NONE!!

So go after His will with ALL YOUR HEART!! Cause you only live once...

WAKE UP! The bride groom is returning! We must not be asleep, slumbering, casual, lackadaisical, stagnant, or anything of the sort. If we do not have the anointing of the Holy Ghost. If we are not actively seeking the power of the Holy Ghost (the oil that was supposed to be in the 5 foolish virgins lamps) on a daily basis we may not be ready when the Bridegroom returns.

But don't fret! The remedy is quite simple! Start a daily prayer life, get off of Facebook and put your face in the Book, fast often, stay submitted to the Word and to your spiritual authority, etc. pretty much the basic building blocks of Apostolic Christianity!

So stay faithful to your prayer life! Stay faithful to the Word of God! Don't look at it as just, "the things you have to do", as an Apostolic! Realize that you are keeping your lamp for full for when the Bridegroom returns!
