This episode is an introduction to your life changing journey of Mahabharat. In this episode King Shantanu discovers about his son Devdrutt (later to be known as Bhishma) with goddess river Ganga. He accepts his son and makes him the Prince of his Kingdom. Satyavati who is the second wife of King Shantanu refuses to accept Devdrutt and did not come to the King's Palace, which makes the King Shantanu very upset.
