When Sue Black was only 23, she found herself living in a women's refuge with three young children. Determined to make a better life for her family, she went back to evening college and got her A levels in maths. She is now a Professor of Computer Science at Durham University. Along the way she has set up organisations to support women in tech and saved Bletchley Park, where an estimated 8000 women worked during WW2.
