"Being an underdog doesn't mean you should think and act like one. Have some audacity." - Rodney
Rodney draws from a variety of sources to illustrate how a combination of audacity and humility is the antidote to feelings of being underrated and overlooked. An episode about being underrated, and the audacity to want more for yourself, regardless.

"Separation brings appreciation. Excellence and authenticity are that separation." - Rodney.
Excellence and authenticity are rare -- two traits that usually exist exclusively. Inspired by a popular dairy-inspired expression, Rodney considers what happens when one is both excellent at what they do and excellent at being themselves -- a lethal combination. That's a god. The episode is chuck full of anecdotes, analogies, and examples that will delight you, make you think, and put you onto new things. An episode about what dairy can teach us about greatness.

"Misogyny is the original 'original sin'" - Rodney
A short clip from Rodney's conversation with Pastor Igbego where he shares a unique perspective on what happened in the Garden of Eden the creation story taking into account context and human nature. Rodney believes that in order to end all gender wars, we have to re-tell the story of Adam and Eve in a way that shares the blame equally between Adam and Eve.
"I want to be God's friend. I’m pursuing a relationship and intentional in my walk with Him. I want to know God through and beyond the bible."
"I’m churchless, not Godless. There’s a difference. That most Nigerian Christians can’t see this in 2024 is quite telling." - Rodney
Rodney is not a churchgoer but in this episode, he takes Nigerian Christians to church in defense of Christians who don't go to church. He holds them accountable for being judgemental of non-churchgoers, prioritizing church over charity, and pedestalizing pastors, among other things. He lists the things he appreciates and dislikes about the Nigerian Church.
Rodney gives reasons for not attending church while shedding light on his philosophical approach to faith and worship. He also shares a cool story about the first and only time he attended Sunday Service at Koinonia out of curiosity.

"Based on who you've developed yourself into, spirit recognizes spirit" - Pst. Igbego
The Young God has featured over 40 diverse individuals in 5 years, 6 seasons, and 244 episodes. But for the first time, on the 11th of April, 2024, a pastor graced the show! She is Pastor Igbego Ogwuche (IG @igbegoogwuche) of Army of God Ministries in Houston, Texas.
Rodney and Pastor Igbego are kindred spirits with as many similarities between them as there are differences. The theme of their conversation is Spiritual Intelligence. In this nearly 2-hour episode, Igbego and Rodney exchanged ideas and understanding about the word of God and what God is trying to communicate, across all aspects of life. Enjoy.
