The Zach & Dave Podcast

Zach & Dave talk about the Canonicity of Scripture and writings such as the Apocrypha, the DaVinci Code, and more! Oh yeah... and it's beginning to look a lot like Christmas...

Dave & Zach talk about Bible Translations, how to choose one, how to use other resources like commentaries, and how crazy bad Dave was at reading the Bible early in his Christian walk... like real bad... like it's wild that he was allowed to even own one... cause he had like zero clue what was going on...

Zach & Dave talk about literary genres of the Bible, how to use ideas like "prescriptive" and "descriptive" to understand the Word of God, and theorize on the current condition of Canadian singer-songwriter Avril Lavigne whose platinum-selling debut album "Let Go" (2002) is the best-selling album of the 21st century by a Canadian artist.

Zach & Dave talk about what it looks like to read scripture daily, having forgiveness for yourself, being intentional with your time, and MORE!!!

Join hosts Zach and Dave as they continue the discussion on what the Bible is and give a super nifty acronym for the attributes of God's Word... SCAN: Sufficiency • Clarity • Authority • Necessity
