The Zelda Cast

A couple months ago, the Zelda Dungeon writing team put their collective heads together to think of some specific in-depth changes they wanted to see take place from Breath of the Wild to its sequel. This week on the show, we go over the list of suggested changes and weight in on what we'd like to see! Recipe Books? A customizable base? Some forgeable weapons? More exuberant music? Underwater travel? A LINK THAT CAN TALK?!

All this and more explored this week, as the gang are joined by Tony Harris, aka Lorule Legend!

Live from Linktober's Zelda Creators Con comes an episode two years in the making - a Phantom Hourglass retrospective! Andy finally replayed Link's DS adventure for the first time in ten years and shares his thoughts with Alasyn and Mases, two big fans of the game. Is this the first bad Zelda game? What are our thoughts on Temple of the Ocean King? Do the controls kill the game for newbies? Does this game have some of the best items in the series? What do we think of Linebeck and Ciela? Does Phantom Hourglass manage to escape the shadow of The Wind Waker? All this and so much more!

JOIN US JUNE 20TH for a fundraising live stream for BLACK LIVES MATTER!

Buckle in and grab your weapons, because this week, we go in our way back machine to reminisce about everyone's favorite Hylian Hero making an unprecedented guest appearance in Namco's 2003 fighting game, Soulcalibur II! How did this happen? How does Link play? What were his weapons like? And what was the climate of the console wars back then? All this and a ton more are up for discussion!

But that's not all! We have TWO live streams to announce - first, NEXT SUNDAY at 4 PM Central, Alasyn and I will be joined by Mases as we host a live Phantom Hourglass retrospective podcast as part of Linktober's Zelda Creator Con. Ticket's are $1 (yes, you read that right) and you'll be able to see us live as well as tons of other amazing artists. For more details, check this out.

The second (and we'll have a post coming out with more details imminently) is on JUNE 20th at 9 PM Central, we will be hosting a Live Fundraiser to help raise funds for Black Lives Matter! We'll be ranking Zelda games all night and when we hit certain donation thresholds, even more Zelda games will added to the pot! Stay tuned for an in depth announcement coming shortly!

Lots going on, so make sure you're subscribed so you don't miss any of the action!

Hey everyone. It's been a tough week for all, but the gang are here to try and provide a distraction from life by answering a whole schwack of questions about Zelda! Who do we want as the next Smash fighter? What came first, Hylia or the Golden Goddesses? What moment made us the most proud to be a Zelda fan? What's the hardest shrine name in Breath of the Wild to pronounce?

All this and much more! Come hang out among friends, and if you are interested in following the links suggested at the top of the show, please click here.
