The Zone Project Podcast

On episode seven of The Zone Project Podcast where I discuss, share, and open up the topic of Success. Last week I shared what I have discovered thus far about failure and so this week I thought it would be useful to open what many see as the opposite of it which is of course success.

In this episode you will have the chance to hear the discoveries that have helped me to look at success not only from a healthy perspective but more importantly from the Kingdoms point of view. Much of what you will hear was understood during my years of working in an environment that was purely driven by results. A place where your worth was measured by your last victory or loss. So as you can imagine success was very much at a premium not only for me but also for those I worked with until of course God stepped in and opened my eyes to the truth.

Seeing success in this way for me began by understanding what it looked like in the Garden of Eden where it all began for humanity. Discovering what it was like there enabled me to further understand the words of Yeshua when addressing this incredibly relevant part in everyone of our lives. Be ready to be surprised by what I will be sharing as much is not what we normally hear from the front when it comes to this topic. God I understand today has no problem whatsoever with us being successful however that said he is very concerned with the impact this can potentially have on our hearts where as we all know real life begins.

Here we are already on episode six of The Zone Project Podcast where I discuss, share, and open up the topic of Failure. As we all know even though we have all experienced it in our lives many times most of us do not understand what it is for and what is meant to happen while we are living through it.

In this sixth episode you will have the chance to hear three main points and discoveries that I believe have helped me to look at failure from a healthy perspective. For the only way to understand these truths is to walk into failure and remain there as long as we need to, trusting that God is the one responsible for the results our lives produce. Our role being to only remain present in the moment with him and respond accordingly to whatever is before us. Listening and being attentive instead of talking and demanding a way out as soon as possible.

I'm excited to share with all of you the fifth episode of The Zone Project Podcast where I share some thoughts on the difference it makes to our journeys when we approach them from an experiential side as opposed to just a literal one.

In this fifth episode you will have the chance to hear my second attempt at a solo podcast. I have only ever done this once before and so I ask for another extension of grace as I continue to travel along the podcast universe. Don't worry soon I will stop telling you this and asking you to be graceful... I must say that I am really enjoying doing these and hope that you are also as much as I am. It is truly freeing to be able to share my heart and the discoveries and meditations I often have within it. In this episode I swim within the tensions of literalism and experience. I focus particularly in the way that so many of us limit our understanding and experience of God to the text that is written within the Bible.

Clearly in order to experience the deep and life giving riches that are beneath the text in the Bible we need to first read it. There are many of us these days that think that one can only be a part of either a literal or an experiential journey with God. Once again the truth is in neither of these extremes or opposites but instead in the middle between them where we find a healthy mixture of both. Remember the literal text in the Bible can only affect you and change you if it is mixed together with a real time ongoing relation with God who is the one that gives you the eyes to see the spiritual meanings and riches that are behind each word in the text.

I'm excited to share with all of you the fourth episode of The Zone Project Podcast where I share some thoughts on what is truth.

In this fourth episode you will have the chance to hear my first attempt at a solo podcast. I have never done this before and so I ask for your grace to be extended. I must be honest and tell you that I really enjoyed the experience as I opened my heart and shared what truth means to me these days, how I recognize it when I am in its presence, and what effects I am finding it has on my life as I continue to discover it.

Much of what is going on in the world these days is the consequence of people seeing life from a dualistic point of view where is either this way or that way. These two extremes are normally in direct opposition of the other and so instead of facilitating a solution that benefits all it creates the arena where the ones that see it differently can be destroyed and shamed. Truth is not like this and neither does it create arenas as much as it tears them down so all can be ultimately healed and free.
