In this episode, I talk about leaving my long career in IT that was not making me happy to follow my heart into "right livelihood" and live in the gift.

I cover how my job termination led me to decide to leave the IT industry, as it no longer aligns with who I am. I talk about my call into living in gift, letting go of contracting, and how I want to be in service to the world moving forward.

It has been a time of big shifts and personal release, so this video also serves as an update on what I plan to create in the future and how I wish to move forward from here.

Personal Note: I know I could have sounded a wee bit more enthusiastic about starting my new life, as it were. On playing it back, I realized that my presentation wasn't exactly how I preferred, but the words do capture how I feel. I'm doing a lot of personal clearing right now, so it could have impacted how I spoke, but do know that I am looking forward to seeing how my new direction will unfold!

Note: This video is a rough cut taken as soon as I had just learned to play it all the way through. At the time, I was rusty and picked up the guitar again after a break. The mic and camera were not of high quality either, but it was the best I could do at the time. I recorded this video a couple of weeks after leaving my husband of over 20 years.

If you like to crochet or knit, you may be interested to know that you can repurpose old duvet covers and pillowcases to make yarn.

This yarn is great for making baskets, mats, and rugs (and I'm sure other things). This video shows you how to cut the material to make the yarn.

I'm in the process of making a rug, and I have many duvet covers waiting to become yarn. Here is a picture of my progress so far:
