I was remarkably sleepy after a bachelor party and that resulted in me missing most of the weekend action but don't worry we got a recap for ya. We obviously had to give our takes on Howard/Gard and how ridiculous college coaches can be. Then we had to get Tom Izzo's rant in here as well. More bad behavior in college hoops as James Bouknight got asked to leave his seat as well. Then we pivot to some more positive stories as we talk Florida's huge win and American Pie. We also try and figure out what has happened to Sparty. We close out with our favorite duos in honor of our favorite palindrome date and give out some Hugs.

Title says it all. Subbi had the worst connection of all time. The Shark was concerned that there was no running water, no lights, no shelter, no constitutional rights. Subbi ended up getting kicked off the program so Shark and Taylor finished up. I think we talked about Kentucky/Tennessee? I think we talked about PC/Villanova? Honestly not sure. We have one foot in Savannah for Subbi's bachelor party so listen to this trainwreck or don't listen to it. Whatever.

No Taylor today as he's on his professional grind so the Shark and Subbi take it back to the old days where they host together. Lotta talk about UCLA and their unsuccessful trip to the desert which resulted in more citations than wins. Is it time to panic in Westwood? Then we talk the weird week for Duke. Coach K goes to Chapel Hill one last time and smacks the arch rival but then comes back to Cameron and puts up a dud against UVA. We also give some partial love to Wake Forest as they continue to climb back to relevancy. Then we discuss Wyoming's hot streak and if PC is lucky or if we're just witnessing trolls. Finally we wrap it up with some segments including Please Sir, I Want Some More, Where Am I? and of course Hugs.

What an honor. A privilege. A true treat bestowed upon Taylor and myself. We were able to interview a member of our favorite team of all time. A.J. Bramlett of the 1997 Arizona Mens Basketball Title Winning Team stopped by to discuss Lute Olson, Arizona then and now and what he's been up to these days. We also touch on the Chris Beard/Texas Tech rivalry. Police presence? What the hell are we doing here?! Then the guys give you some winners and we finish it off with the return of Friday Bracketology.

Big n tasty episode today as we focus on the mid majors. First we were lucky enough to be joined by Drake Assistant Coach, Matt Gatens. An Iowa native, Matt delves into his playing career and how he's transitioned to the bench. We've had great coastal representation on the show but not a ton of Midwest representation. That changes now. 

Then we looked at some really terrific winning streaks that include Davidson, UNC Wilmington, Princeton, Boise State, Murray State & Morehead State. We also discuss where Bob McKillop should rank amongst head coaches. Then we chat about Auburn's escape from Columbia and if we buy into Houston. We finish it up with Please Sir, I Want Some More, TWIT & YOAF. A deluge of segments to end it.

Auburn is #2 in the country. Tied for the school's best ranking EVER. So naturally we had to get our A1 Day 1 amigo, Mike Burgomaster, on the pod to discuss this season. We chat about everything from Jabari Smith, to the Kiss of TICH to Burgo's Thanksgiving "Vacation" in Atlantis. We also talk about Taylor's finger injury as well as a recap on bets and Hugs. Following that, we provide a pretty insane nugget about the top 2 teams in the rankings as it relates to the previous title game. It honestly might spoil the season. First week of the year is so brutal. We're dealing with some Covid issues, some are stranded from home, it's freezing, we're fat, hungover and tired. But we powered through and had to talk shop about games that actually took place which is a blessing at this point. We talk Colorado State's undefeated start and how last year set the table for their success this season. Then we look at the Purdue loss at home to Wisconsin and try to determine if this is the worst ACC of our lives. Then the boys give out some picks and we finish it off with Hugs. 

Do we have an episode for you guys. We welcome to the program former Wake Forest player, LD Williams. One of the best players in their recent generation sits down with us to talk everything Wake Forest and his time with the Brooklyn Nets. He tells us about the legendary Skip Prosser, his relationship with former teammates and some all time James Johnson stories. He then goes into detail about what it's like working in the league and maybe even broke some news? If that news doesn't happen then don't hold it against us. Regardless, if you're a Wake fan, a Tobacco Road fan, an ACC fan or even just a college hoops fan then this interview is a must listen. Ahhh an old friend rejoins us! It's the Providence Crier and he's here to chat about everything from the team and their upcoming game with UConn all the way to Mac Jones.
