In this episode of The BK Lounge, we take a moment to look back at our last episode and everything that’s happened since — because a lot has changed.
Kenny officially adds “PGA” behind her name, marking a huge milestone in the golf world and something that’s been a long time coming. On Burt’s side, he finally receives his DoD rating and is now just about 45 days away from officially retiring from the U.S. Air Force after years of service.
For both of us, those stressful and demanding chapters are starting to close — and it feels like we can finally breathe a little. We talk about what it means to slow things down, be more present, and shift our focus toward what’s next: planning a wedding, buying a house, and building our life together outside of all the chaos.
We also share our excitement for an upcoming trip to Florida at the end of May — a much-needed reset — and everything we’re looking forward to in this next season.
This one’s about growth, transition, and stepping into what’s next.
We kick things off with a quick recap of Episode 5 before diving into everything going on lately as we head into spring here in North Carolina.
The weather is finally starting to turn (about time), which sparked a full-on spring reset in our lives—closets cleaned out, house refreshed, garage reorganized, and even taking a hard look at our finances. We talk about what that process looked like and why it felt so needed.
One of the biggest steps we took was meeting with a financial advisor, and we break down why that’s been such an important move for us as a couple. If you’re trying to build something long-term with your partner, this is a conversation you don’t want to skip.
Of course, it wouldn’t be spring in NC without the pollen making its grand (and aggressive) return—so we get into that struggle too.
And with engagement photos coming up in April, we talk through the excitement… and the slight hesitation. Kenny shares her thoughts on some of the “posed” photo ideas, and we both agree—whatever happens, we’re keeping it natural.
A little life update, a little planning for the future, and a lot of real talk—just how we like it.
In this episode of The BK Lounge, Burt and Kenny recap an unforgettable getaway and a week full of new adventures. The two break down their awesome casino trip—from the chaos of the gaming floor to the laughs, wins, and stories that only a casino weekend can produce.
Kenny also talks about a huge personal milestone: getting back on the ice for the first time in five years. The episode dives into what it felt like to lace up again, the nerves going in, and the excitement of rediscovering something that meant so much.
Meanwhile, Burt has been finding a new competitive outlet of his own—pickleball. What started as a casual try turned into a new obsession, and Burt shares why he’s loving the game.
With warmer weather on the horizon, the conversation shifts to everything they’re excited about for the upcoming season—more time outside, new activities, and embracing the energy that comes with spring finally showing up.
As always, the episode mixes real life updates, plenty of laughs, and the chaos that seems to follow Burt and Kenny wherever they go.
In this episode of The BK Lounge, Burt and Kenny recap the last few episodes' conversations on what it really means to be a team—especially when life refuses to slow down. From the much-hyped Carolina “ice storm” that never showed up, to Kenny being sick for over a week, to the strange reality of celebrating Valentine’s Day with it being just a marketing day… it’s been chaos in the house!
They also talk Super Bowl heartbreak as the Patriots fall short, and look ahead to their upcoming mini vacation at a casino resort—where Burt is ready to gamble and Kenny… maybe not as much.
The episode dives into the wild side of social media, unpacking how quickly people cast judgment on TikTok clips without knowing the full story, and why staying safe and grounded online matters more than ever.
To wrap things up, Burt and Kenny answer questions live from the Twitch audience, bringing the BK Family right into the lounge for honest laughs, real talk, and shared experiences.
In this episode, Burt and Kenny circle back to last week’s conversation about being a true team — in relationships, in business, and in life. What does it actually look like to support each other when things get tough? And how do you stay aligned when the pressure is on?
We also dive into the Patriots punching their ticket to the Super Bowl — what it means, how we’re feeling about it, and the bigger conversation around legacy, momentum, and building something that lasts.
Of course, we couldn’t ignore the “winter storm” that was supposed to shake up North Carolina… but ended up being more hype than hazard. We break down the buildup, the prep and some stories from back in our Vermont Days
To wrap it up, we get real about the biggest challenges we’re facing in our careers right now — growth, leadership, uncertainty, and what it takes to keep pushing forward when expectations are high.
As always, it’s honest, it’s unfiltered, and it’s about building together — on and off the mic.
In this episode, we reflect back on Episode 1 and the foundation it set, then dive deeper into what it truly means to be a team in a relationship. Being a team player isn’t about keeping score—it’s about showing up, standing together, and choosing each other even when life gets hard.
We talk about what it looks like to be your partner’s biggest fan—celebrating their wins, encouraging them through setbacks, and supporting their dreams even when the path isn’t clear yet. From learning how to communicate better, to understanding when to lead and when to follow, this episode explores how strong partnerships are built through trust, patience, and intentional support.
We also discuss how teamwork shows up in real life decisions, including finances, goal-setting, and long-term planning. Having open, honest conversations about money, shared responsibilities, and future goals can either divide a relationship—or strengthen it when approached as a united front.
This episode is about building each other up, moving in the same direction, and creating a partnership where both people feel seen, supported, and valued.
After a long break, we’re finally back behind the mics and catching you up on everything that’s been going on. In this episode, we open up about the real reasons behind the pause, what life has looked like lately, and all the major changes happening behind the scenes.
From big family moves and settling into a new house, to life updates you didn’t see coming—including getting engaged—nothing is off the table. This is a true life update episode, filled with honest conversations, laughs, and that classic Burt & Kenny energy you’ve been missing.
