Recently, the Dash DAO (decentralized autonomous organization) completed another important governance vote between two proposals seeking alternate ways of improving its self-funding treasury system. In the end, the proposal by the main development team won, but by looking back and comparing past votes, we can see how the network doesn't simply vote to validate the requests of the main developers, but rather they make decisions based on a completely rational set of requirements, which doesn't always favor the Core Team. Moreover, we can learn a lot on how other cryptocurrency and blockchain governance systems might shake out based on their incentive systems.

In a LBRY exclusive, CEO Jeremy Kauffman speaks on LBRY's bank accounts getting shut down without warning or stated reason, including his own personal accounts and those of his family. We spoke about what this means for LBRY and more personally Jeremy moving forward, as well as the dangers of relying on centralized services. We also covered the "fake decentralization" phenomenon where platforms and services claiming to be blockchain-based are actually centralized, with some token blockchain elements. Finally, of course, we dove into LBRY itself and went over some hard questions on the platform's future and potential.

The Capitol Hill Autonomous Zone, or CHAZ, is a grand experiment in the heart of Seattle in anarcho-communist, hyper-local, communal self-governance. There have been reports of all kinds of circumstances, ranging from a new and peaceful successful micro-society to a complete breakdown with food shortages, extortion, and warlords. Whatever's actually happening there, I have a solution that can keep them sustainable for years to come.

Joël and Chris rant on the complete 180 from glorifying police and state enforcement of stay-at-home orders to now entertaining a world without cops. What would a police-free world actually look like though? Keep an open mind for this one.

With police brutality in the forefront of everyone's mind, the #DefundPolice hashtag has taken over, and while there's some nuance to its meaning, there has actually been a serious discussion around the unthinkable: getting rid of cops altogether and replacing them with something new. And while this is a radical idea, what could it actually look like? What would you, personally, do to keep your society from plunging into chaos without police?

I chat with Scott Cunningham, social media expert and host of Crypto & Things, about the practical world of crypto and blockchain video and social media sites: their viability and, most importantly, their profitability. Can you actually leave YouTube and only use crypto platforms, or is it too early? Watch to find out. This is part of a much longer interview which goes significantly more in-depth, watch it here:

We rant about the world burning and the rise of insurrection, quite opposite from the libertarian fantasy of "the boogaloo" some have been waiting for, and the global anti-police uprising, including the nascent community defense movement.
