TheDesireeSHOW

Desiree welcomed Lizzie Armanto at the Dash Studios on January 22, 2019.

Phenomenal athlete, first of many and one of the hardest working pros out there. She's the third woman to get the cover of Thrasher Magazine, first to grace the cover of Transworld skate, full video parts in Thrashers 'Fire" and Birdhouses Saturdays video.

One of a select few whom have ever successfully done the loop and that is just a glimpse of her list of accolades.

Lizzie continues to awe me, well all of us, on her board, but equally with her respect, integrity and love for skateboarding all the while with grace! Truly a beautiful human!

Lizzie also will be coming out soon with her decision on the Olympics and as duel citizen on why she made those decisions.

AND I'm headed to Atlanta for radio row of SBLIII! This special will be brought to you by Wave Soda Co.

No added sugar, 85% soda, 15% juice and a polite dash of CAFFEINE and it taste awesome!

Be sure to follow my adventures on IG both @Desiree_Astorga & @TheDesireeSHOW for live coverage, stories and interviews.

The Desiree SHOW airs on Dash Radio on Wednesdays 4-5 PM

Julian Davidson joined Desiree at Dash Studios on 12-18-19.

Phenomenal pro skateboarder whom is even a more amazing human! (One of the reasons I love my show , getting to know some really special people).

His first KOTR, some cool Christmas stories & an event that changed his life.

Julian is truly a special human, PHENOM on his board and equally off of it!

"Julian Davidson is as smooth on a skateboard as he is kind and conscientious off. His devotion to his friends and his continued striving for self-improvement have made him one of the more loved and respected skaters in our area. And let's not get started on those kickflips!" - Michael Burnett

And as always quick hits on Chargers.

Make sure to follow Desiree_Astorga & the Desiree SHOW on iG and tune in Wednesdays 4-5 PM PST to listen on Dash Radio.

ICYMI January 3, 2019 episode ( LACvsBAL week)

Inside The Locker Room with Desiree always raw and unedited with ambient noise.

Wildcard week, Chargers head to Baltimore to face the Ravens for the second time in 3 weeks. I spoke with Mike Williams and Russell Okung on the match up, the advantages and the similarities with other Championship teams these two have been apart of.

After Eric D Williams, ESPN beat writer for the Chargers and I spoke on the match up, again more advantages vs a team twice especially on a quick turn around and Eric even tossed in his predictions.

Enjoy Wildcard Weekend

And as always thank you to the Chargers PR for the opportunity and to you all for your support.

The Desiree SHOW airs on Wednedsays 4-5 PM PST on Dash Radio, this is a special episode during the Playoffs.

Part 1 of The Desiree SHOW 12-11-18

ITL, Inside The Locker room at the Chargers HQs, a special on The Desiree Show.

On the ITL 12-11-18

This week was big, an AFC West showdown on prime time in Kansas City for Thursday Night Football vs The Chiefs.

There is truly something special I have seen in this locker room this season and on the field, this team has a phenomenal unity. It's tight, there is mutual respect, a fight together and a special something one can't quite put a figure on, the ingredients of a championship team.

Donnie Jones, Damion Square and Justin Jackson.

I asked Donnie Jones about the specialness of this team, the SB and BCS Champ told me " Probably the best locker room I've been apart of"

On the similarities of championship teams he has been apart of the 3 X BCS Champion, Damion Square simply stated,

"Respect! We respect each other"

Also, some cool background on Justin Jackson's current and past jerseys.

The ITL is a regular special on the show.

Desiree welcomed back phenomenal journalist Sam Farmer of the LA Times on Tuesday November 27.

Sam has covered the NFL for 25 years, and the last 3 he has had 2 LA NFL teams.

Great insight as always today primarily Chargers and Rams including Phillip Rivers and LAC heading to PIT for Sunday Night Football.

(.....and no I did not talk to him about the USC Trojans!)

You can follow Sam on Twitter in case you aren't already

I welcomed the extraordinary MARC JOHNSON November 13, 2018 to the show.

Seriously one of the most interesting humans!! He comes with a list of accolades ( too many to list) but including Thrasher Skater of the Year 2007 (SOTY), over 34 video parts, he's a company owner and all around creative minded authentic individual. One of the most technical and phenomenal skaters ever,

"He's one of the best skateboarders ever" -- Giovanni Reda.

We skimmed or hit on many points including MySpace perils, his first skateboard with a story never heard, where his SOTY award resides and ironically on national pickle day, which is the key ingredient to his infamous breakfast sandwich.

Also, stay tuned to Marc's return as so much we couldn't even address, (talks of a mini series on the forecast).

Heads up also for Business and Company board release with a n ETA of February 2019.

The Desiree SHOW airs on Dash Radio's Dash Talk on Wednesdays 4-5 PM PST.

Warm thanks to Jai Tanju, Giovanni Reda, Michael Burnett and Ben Colen for their quotes and time.

He continues to share his wonderful gifts with us all and just as much love for all of us whom are touched by his life.

Always such a treat to see Ray, I thankfully welcomed him back on on the show at the Dash Studios on October 23, 2018.

Steve Van Doren summed it up,

“Ray is an amazing person with so many talents and the best disposition person I know. So happy with so much talent great to call him my friend. He loves all. “

-Steve VanDoren

Desiree welcomed two amazing men on October 2, 2018.

Beat Reporter Michael Gehlken for the Oakland Raiders and former beat reporter for the San Diego Chargers, a great perspective especially with the LA Chargers hosting the Raiders.

And NY Godfather of skateboarding, the tour guide, a mayor, and the list goes on...... the one and only Alex Corporan. Former pro skateboarder whom helped brand Supreme as we know it today, Skate Night in NY, Elsenore among a slew of other hands in many brands.
