It's old home week for this episode as host Seán Duggan welcomes back Jan Kabili, the original founding host of TheFIX. Jan brings us up to date on what she's been up to since she joined Adobe Systems to create tutorial content on Photoshop, Lightroom, and Adobe's mobile photography apps for Adobe.com. Jan also shows something that a lot of people are unaware of...the amazing amount of free, quality tutorial content for Adobe products that can be found at Adobe.com (it can even be accessed right from the Photoshop start screen!). In the demo segment, Jan shares some beginner tips for a basic Lightroom to Photoshop workflow.

About This Week's Guest

Jan Kabili is a photographer, author, educator, and the founding host of TheFIX on the TWiP network. Since 2001, she has authored numerous books, articles, and videos on how to use Adobe software and she has authored 42 Photoshop and Lightroom courses on the popular training website Lynda.com. Jan currently works for Adobe Systems, where she is in charge of creating tutorials on Photoshop, Lightroom, and the Adobe mobile photography apps for the Adobe website, Adobe.com. Her latest book is the Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop for Photographers Classroom in a Book (Adobe Press 2014). She has a Master of Fine Arts degree in photography from University of Colorado at Boulder, and is a graduate of Stanford University and Stanford Law School.
