Jesus promised the disciples a Helper, The Holy Spirit. The Holy Spirit is available to us today in the same way. A large part of the maturing process comes from the help of the Holy Spirit. He shows us & helps us on the journey of following Christ.

Walking in step with the Spirit of God means we are obedient to the truth He leads us to each day. Becoming a mature believer means we obey what He asks of us by applying to our lives the truth of scripture each day. Unapplied truth is like unapplied paint, the value is in the application.

You become what you behold. What we choose to focus on drives our decisions & actions. As we mature Jesus needs to be our example. His teaching bring life but they are not always easy to follow. If we are to grow up in all things what we focus on will be what helps us to continue to grow or hold us back & keep us stuck.

One of the reasons people don't want to grow up is that they lack a good picture of what a healthy mature adult looks like in the physical as well as in the spiritual. When kids don't see their parents having fun & enjoying life, they may not want what you have.

Others will follow when they see something worth following. We challenge you to have fun. Show up, early, ready to work, with a positive attitude & a teachable heart. And if you do this consistently others will notice & begin to ask why you are different.

Maturity is being unselfishly concerned for or devoted to the welfare of others. It is about serving others especially those who are unable to pay us back.

Refusal to give up is key if we are going to grow up in all things. To continue to mature we have to have a growth mindset. We need to learn to stick with it and not give up when it gets hard or uncomfortable.

Growing Up takes time and has different stages. This series is about finding the principles to help us navigate those stages. Growing up is not just about knowledge but understanding what to do with what we learn. It will take work, but the results will be worth it. Embrace the process.

Life is very rewarding when we grow up. We get to do more & we get to have more. God is looking for people who He can bless so that they can bless others. In this episode we discuss the importance of growing up and how your life can produce a huge harvest.

Easter is really important & when you understand it, it changes everything. When you understand the core idea of something all of the other parts make more sense. The core idea of Christianity is centered around the reason why He came, why He died, & that He's Alive!

God gives us dreams he wants us to fulfill. He created each of us with imagination and a unique set of gifts and abilities to accomplish our dreams and bring glory to him. When we step out in obedience we may find obstacles in our way. Just as David faced Goliath, sometimes our problems may seem like giants standing in the path between us and our dreams. As we face these delays, discouragement, disapproval and doubt, we can remember how God helped us in the past, use the tools God has given us right now, ignore the dream-crushers, and expect God to help us for his glory. Dream again!
