God wants us to move beyond Salvation & towards freedom. Freedom from sin & healing from wounds & authority over the enemy. To get through the second promise the right relationships are key. The core issue of not putting God first is that we don't believe in the faithfulness of God. Uncertainty can be a barrier to trusting God but uncertainty with fear will lead to worry. Instead of worrying about tomorrow look for a way to participate in what God is doing today. He is trustworthy.
