THEHEART Podcast

Having faith that God can make a way isn't where faith ends. Dom talks about how an act of faith can lead to an activated faith. And, that's where we really began to partner with God in what he is doing in our life and the lives of those around us! #WaymakerHC

When we have a setback in our life, it can be easy to lose our sense of purpose. Finding our passion can be a path back to purpose. Dom talks about how discovering purpose doesn't come a set of your qualifications, but a willingness to say yes to your comeback. #TheComebackHC

Last week the question was asked, "What have you discovered about yourself during quarantine?" This week, Dom talks about how we can take what we have learned and make it our comeback, not just getting back to where we were. #TheComebackHC

What have you discovered about yourself during quarantine? We've all had a chance to see more of who we are. Crystal talks to us about what we can do with that and how to move forward. In isolation, we can still have insight. #TheComebackHC

We started calling it “The Comeback” when we were planning on meeting back in person after Quarantine. But, we quickly realized that everyone has a chance for a comeback after a setback like this. We all experienced a setback in some way over the last several months. Dom talks through how seeing the newness God is brining is a perspective that we are in control of. #TheComebackHC

With our assumptions in mind, seeing the humanity in Jonah, and seeing a God that wants to reconcile with people that don't believe in him... Dominic tells us how we can change the way we think from reading a simple story like Jonah, and how we can take that with us everyone, not just our faith. #ShadowHC

At first glance, it can seem as though the book of Jonah is a lesson in obedience to God. But, if we stop there we miss what’s left in the shadow of that light. Dom talks about a God, Jonah’s God, that sees and loves people before those people know God. A God that seeks reconciliation... and what that meant back then and what it could mean to us now. #ShadowHC

Whether Jonah is a historical tale or not, what changes about the way we see the story when we see Jonah as a human. Dom talks through how viewing Jonah as a human with a background, anger, frustrations, and real emotions can make the story come alive for us in our life. #ShadowHC

Jonah is a very small, very popular book in the Bible that talks about a man that had a message to deliver to a city. For how short the story is, the depth that it has is amazing. Dominic talks through how understanding the assumptions that we bring to a story, relationship, even a job, changes everything about how it impacts you. #ShadowHC

Over the last few weeks, we've looked at what it means to be found and how we can do that through God, our community, and within ourselves. But, being found isn't a destination that we finally reach. It's a step in a journey of continued growth and discovery. Dom talks about how we can setup our life with habits to be constantly found when we lose track of ourselves. #FoundHC
