The idea of perfection to me is a very interesting one and I see so many of us striving really hard to attain perfection. The question is, can we really achieve perfection?

My answer to the question is in the title of this blog and I've made a 3speak video sharing my opinions regarding it. I believe it is an illusion.

As I said in the video, it's deeply exhausting to chase perfection. We want the perfect job, the perfect income, the perfect relationship, the perfect family and friends and the perfect country.

For thousands of years, we as people haven't accomplished that and the reality is a disappointing because we may never attain perfection. I will share with you the reasons why I make such a claim.

First of all, I have noticed in my own life that no matter what I achieve and no matter what others achieve, there always seems to be something more or higher that can be attained. You set a goal before you to achieve, and after you manage to pull it off, you immediately start thinking about what's next.

I see it as a cycle that will never end, and the only reason we haven't fully realized it is because we're not immortal or we don't live long enough to realize that there's really no end to what will satisfy us entirely to a point where we no longer desire something more. The whole idea or definition of perfection keeps shifting and that to me is the primary reason why it's impossible to reach.

I spoke in the 3speak video on Social Media's impact on this whole idea of perfection. Social media has made it even way worse for all of us.

When you follow celebrities and big time or successful business men and women, you see a flawless life and you start to desire that kind of life. The thing we forget while watching all those flawless and seemingly perfect videos and images they post online is that those videos or images have been carefully curated and we'll edited to look good or perfect.

Even when you watch videos like "A day in the life of a celebrity" the truth is that, what they should you is not necessarily how their day goes. Everything was well planned to make the video look its best. From their mood to how organized and perfect their house looks, to their workstation and how perfectly organized everything is. They prepared before shooting that video. But people think that's how their day always goes. Not True At All

What we usually see online is only a small, and well polished part of the whole picture. No one shows their struggles in details, their doubts, or their failures. Yes during an interview we hear stories of some struggles but even that is not the full picture.

When they show this perfect life, what happens if that very unrealistic standards are created in the minds of the viewers and people that watch it start comparing their lives to these unrealistic standards. So we're always thinking that we need to be better, do more, look better, talk better, walk better, basically better and flawless with every aspect of our lives. Imagine the frustration of trying to be perfect every single day.

The more you try to be perfect the more you notice that it really is an illusion. You won't be happy with their mentality because you'll become way too self critical and judgmental and that is a one way ticket to disappointment and depression. I just think the bar has been set way too high.

In the end, I have come to accept and learn through my own experience of it that what really matters is progress and seeing that you're growing in every single aspect of your life. You don't need a perfect standard to follow, you just need to make good progress each day.

Simply striving to be better than you were yesterday is the right thing to do and is the right goal to have. Just embrace imperfection.

Infact, did you know that our flaws contribute to what makes us human. Also know that being successful doesn't mean that you're flawless so don't worry about being perfect. Mistakes are part of the journey of life and real success comes from learning from those mistakes rather than being flawless.

Focus on doing your best. Yes some days your best may not look good or even satisfying but try another day until you get very good at what you're doing or very good at life itself but never perfect.

Hi guys, The Hivetuber back again, and I'm so glad I was received in the community. Well it's a Sunday and although I don't talk about the same thing twice, the skeleton joke got me good yesterday. I decided to come up with another one.

Let me give you something to think about.... There's one thing that skeletons just can't do even if they wished to do it. Skeletons can never start a band of their own. As always I wouldn't want to give a clue too close to the answer that it ruins the joke so I'll leave the clue right here.

In order to start a band, you'll need something very important and skeletons don't have that ... Oh damn, I went ahead and gave a deeper clue.

Hi guys, Hivetuber back again with some pretty funny questions for ya. Today's joke is about skeletons and one place they probably wouldn't like to be in

If a skeleton was to visit you in your house and let's say you gave it a house tour, showing the skeleton every single room. There's just one room in your house they'll probably hate. That's as far as I'll go with the clues, the answers are always in the short video clip.

If you didn't get the joke, I'll be waiting for you in the comments section but honestly I don't think this will be a hard one at all. The whole idea is to make you laugh and oh it's the weekend so this could be a good way to start th weekend or end it depending on when you saw this video.

Como dije en el video, honestamente estoy dispuesto a cualquier tipo de negocio, siempre y cuando tenga éxito. Además, el principal objetivo de la iniciativa empresarial es proporcionar valor a las personas al tiempo que se obtienen beneficios al final.

Una de las cosas con las que he tenido que lidiar y con la que creo que lidian la mayoría de los emprendedores es pensar en ideas de negocio y en el capital que van a reunir para ponerlo en marcha. Los pensamientos pueden quitarte el sueño. Como me pasó a mí anoche. Las ideas de negocio son preciosas y cuando una idea te golpea y no puedes tomar acción sobre ella lo suficientemente rápido, estarías triste de darte cuenta de que alguien está implementando o tomando acción sobre tu idea y teniendo mucho éxito con ella.

Ya me había pasado antes con una idea para una aplicación que quería crear. Tenía un nombre único para la aplicación, busqué en las tiendas de aplicaciones y me di cuenta de que nadie había creado la aplicación con ese nombre específico.

Por desgracia, no pude reunir suficiente capital para crear la aplicación sabiendo lo caro que era y sigue siendo desarrollar aplicaciones. Después de unos 6 meses, vi dos aplicaciones diferentes con el mismo nombre en la tienda de aplicaciones. Se me rompió el corazón porque esas aplicaciones tenían millones de descargas y era exactamente la misma idea que yo tenía.

Esa situación me creó cierto nivel de ansiedad y siempre que se me ocurre una buena idea de negocio busco ponerla en práctica lo más rápido posible. Pero una cosa es imaginar una idea y ponerla en práctica requiere mucho apoyo. Todo ese apoyo requiere dinero para conseguirlo. Así que, además de pensar en un buen plan de negocio, los emprendedores también tienen que pensar en cómo conseguir el dinero tanto para establecer el negocio como para promocionarlo.

Hay gente con muy buenos modelos de negocio, buenos productos o servicios, pero no son escuchados ni vistos por el mundo porque hace falta dinero para compartir ese producto o servicio en forma de anuncios. La publicidad también es bastante cara.

Pensar en la idea de negocio perfecta es una parte importante de la creación de un negocio de éxito. Por eso me lleva tanto tiempo y me quita el sueño, porque una gran idea y eres el próximo Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg o Bill Gates.

Supongo que en realidad se trata de asumir riesgos. Aunque, para ser sincero, cuando consigues un inversor dispuesto a invertir en tu idea, todo parece más real y te vuelves más cauto con tus decisiones porque tienes la carga de no decepcionar a los inversores y hacerles perder una fortuna con su decisión de invertir en tu idea.

He oído a alguien decir que emprender es fácil, que cualquiera puede crear una empresa, pero yo creo que es todo lo contrario. Las primeras fases de un negocio suelen ser las más difíciles, así que empezar tiene que ser la parte más dura. Ganar los primeros 100.000 USD es más difícil que ganar los siguientes 500.000 USD.

No quisiera hacer de este blog un desvarío, sino más bien compartir mi experiencia, mis pensamientos y las cosas que experimento como empresario. Hello "Be Entrepreneur" community, I did a little introduction and a little talking in the video above. Glad to be part of this community because it aligns with one of my biggest dreams in life and that is to be a successful entrepreneur.

As I said in the video, honestly I'm up for any kind of business as long as it succeeds. Besides, the main goal of entrepreneurship is to provide value for people while making profit in the end.

One of the things I have had to deal with and I believe most entrepreneurs deal with is thinking of business ideas and the capital they'll raise to start it. The thoughts can keep you up at night. Just like it did to me last night. Business ideas are precious and when an idea hits you and you can't take action on it quick enough, you'd be sad to realize someone implementing or taking action on your idea and being very successful with it.

This has happened to me before with an app idea I wanted to build. I had a unique name for the app, searched on app stores and noticed no one has created the app with that specific name.

Unfortunately I couldn't raise enough capital to build the app knowing how expensive it was and still is to develop apps. After about 6 months, I saw two different apps with the exact same name on the app store. I was heartbroken because those apps had millions of downloads and it was the exact same idea I had.

That situation created some level of anxiety in me and whenever I come up with a good business idea I seek to implement it fast enough. But it's one thing to imagine an idea and implementing it takes a lot of support. All that support requires money to get. So besides thinking of a good business plan, entrepreneurs are also burdened with thinking about how to get the money to both establish the business and promote it.

There are people with very good business models, good products or services but they're not heard or seen by the world because it takes money to share that product or service in the form of advertisements. Advertisments is also pretty pricey.

Thinking of the perfect business idea is a major part of creating a successful business. That's why I take so long and it keeps me up at night because one big idea and you're the next Elon Musk, Mark Zuckerberg or Bill Gates.

I guess it's really about risk taking. Although to be honest when you get an investor who's ready to invest in your idea, everything feels more real and you become more cautious of your decisions because you have the burden of not disappointing the investors and costing them a fortune in their decision to invest in your idea.

I heard someone say, starting is easy, anyone can start a business, I think it's quite the opposite. The early parts of a business is usually the hardest so starting has to be the hardest part. Making your first 100,000 USD is harder than making the next 500,000 USD.

I wouldn't want to make this blog a rant, but rather sharing my experience, thoughts and the things I experience as an entrepreneur. While I aspire to be a successful entrepreneur, I guess I'm still at that stage where I'm trying to find my way and gain as much wisdom and experience as I can.

So I'll be learning a lot in this community, on Hive and other business and finance communities.
