If we believe this is true, then wouldn’t it be imperative for us to know what we believe and why we believe it, especially when it comes to God? We live in a culture that tells us that there are no definites; there are no definite rights and no definite wrongs. We are offered a perspective that says all beliefs are correct, even if they are drastically different. But how can everyone be right if we all believe different things? Over the past year, God has challenged us, as the Journey, to step up in some big ways because he wanted to show up and do immeasurably more through us. Stepping up has been fun and amazing but other times it was downright tough. Through these ups and downs, we ultimately come away celebrating, not because of our strength or accomplishments, but because of God’s goodness. As we look back and see the faithfulness of our God, it is then that we can say, it was worth it.
