Welcome to the 6th episode of the Line Up Podcast. If you are joining us today for the first time here on Anchor Fm, we are a talkshow that's dedicated on tackling a wide array of issues on matters football.
On our previous episode, we delved into the workings of VAR. Matchweek 3 was full of VAR related controversies. Whereas there seems to be an agreement on the Offside and Direct Red Card Rules, the HandBall Rule is yet to be fully understood by all and sundry. Manchester United won a penalty in extra time due to Maupay's handball whereas Kai Havertz's handball within the box was not flagged by VAR. This prompted referees to hold a meeting earlier this week to try and find a consistent way of applying the handball going forward.
3 weeks into the new season and there are looming signs already of Managers who may face the sack before the end of the season. Join our hosts as they try to predict who will face the axe sooner, rather than later.
