Robbyn Scribner is a women's labor force expert, consultant, and career coach. She is a CoFounder and Director of Outreach for Tech-Moms, a workforce reentry program that helps women transition into the tech industry. Robbyn is also a regular keynote speaker and presenter focusing on women’s professional development. A prolific researcher and writer on women’s issues, she has published more than 50 reports, articles, or snapshots on a wide variety of topics, including labor force participation, the gender wage gap, male allies, workplace flexibility, and women’s careers. Robbyn holds Master’s and Bachelor degrees from Brigham Young University, and she is a Gallup Certified Strengths Coach. She has a special interest in researching and writing about women’s work life integration, highlighting the challenges women face in trying to balance work and family responsibilities, while advocating for creative solutions to advance women’s professional wellbeing. A mother of 6 rowdy kids, Robbyn loves to play volleyball, sing, and hike in the beautiful Utah mountains.

Go for a walk or a run. Taylor started running and had moments where she truly loved it and other times where she disliked it, but always wanted to like it. She would get something in her where she would just get up and go on a long run without having trained for such a long run. I think it helped her get through all of her thoughts. So if you have something you need to work through give it a try. If running truly isn't something you want to try, grab a friend and have a good conversation while enjoying the outside.

Connect when you have enough time to truly dive in and ask great questions, and able to truly listen. Learn something new. Taylor really wanted to learn Spanish and put it into her daily routine. Find something that interests you to add to your daily routine. Learn how to prioritize.  Life gets busy and we get used to doing the same routine.  Put some of the phone calls you should make onto your calendar.

Meet Lebo
Director - Yoga Forward
Lebogang Monageng-Goad (aka Lebo) is a proudly South African woman who’s dharma is strongly founded on the principle of Ubuntu; an African philosophy that denotes that “I am, because we are”. Lebo is among the former graduates of the Yoga Forward BIPOC scholarship program, and is now a Trauma Sensitive RYT500 and PYT. She has taught yoga to military veterans from the Salt Lake VA, the Utah Refugee center, the Utah State Prison, the Granite School District Family Engagement Centers, and is a teacher trainer for Yoga Assets Teacher Training Systems.

In alignment with our mission to take yoga where it isn’t, Lebo currently serves as the Executive Director for Yoga Forward and hopes to one day extend this beautiful gift of yoga with her community in South Africa.

Another year is upon us, and I am continuing to do 12monthsforTaylor.  This is so important for me to continue for a few reasons.  I want to continue to honor my beautiful niece and remind myself and the world of what she brought to our lives.  I want her life to cause a ripple effect of kindness, and remind those out there that life isn't supposed to be done alone.  That there are people out there that want to rally behind you and carry the load that may feel to heavy at times.  And champion the organizations out there that are trying their best to bring awareness to suicide, that it should be part of our conversations with loved ones.  To make it an easier conversation to have.  We all have a state of mind that can be unhealthy, some worse that others.  But if we can share our stories and help others not feel so alone in what they are feeling, man what a better world we can live in.  If only 1, but my hope for so many is that it's several more.

Our community came together at the Utah Capitol to rally for family affordability, and we couldn’t be more inspired by the turnout! 💚 Seeing so many parents, caregivers, and supporters standing up for Utah families was a powerful reminder that this issue affects all of us.

We are so grateful to the legislators who joined us, shared their perspectives, and spoke in support of policies that give families real choices. Every parent deserves the resources and flexibility to decide what’s best for their children during those crucial early years.
