This episode I spoke to Yasmin Godo the 1st Assistant Director of GRM Daily's Together We Rise: The Platform. She spoke to me about her job and all the British grime and rap legends she's worked with. Together We Rise is a documentary produced and directed by GRM Daily (formely known as Grime Daily) was created by Posty and Sketchy to create a space for UK grime and rap artists to showcase their rapping talent, freestyle ability and promote themselves/release new music. The documentary is a four-part documentary series is a celebration of the 10th anniversary of GRM Daily platform, focusing on telling the uncompromised story the GRM Daily journey and CEO and founder, Posty.
Yasmin talks about her role as 1st assistant director on the documentary, Youtube recognising Black British talent, the Black British Renaissance and the impact of the Black Lives Matter rallies on diversifying the industry.

This episode I talk to Annette, the founding director of womenswear brand, Naetiv. Naetiv went viral this year when Youtuber Aaliyah Jay shouted out her brand and the gorgeous pieces on Instagram. Couple months later, Jackie Aina purchased a jumpsuit and posted it on her gram and Naetiv went viral for atleast a week! So for the 2nd episode I speak to the founding directors of Tirade Magazine: the UK's first Black British owned indie magazine. If 'not all heroes wear capes' was human these guys are the LITERAL embodiment of the meme. The directors Michael Stuart Daley, Calvin Condry, Haze Alieu and Tae Alveon delve into how Tirade Magazine was created by Black men from the hood who combined their passion for photography and wanting to change the perception or limitations placed on Black emerging photographers in high end fashion photography.
