I also delve into the intricacies of being a writer and the importance of reading others who have walked a path that is not easy to grasp or understand.

Simphiwe Dana is an artist who I think is incredibly important to our collective narrative as the artist community and this book is as important to understanding the complexities of engaging with the artist, themselves and the tension that exists, in writing about art and artists.

In this magnificent and enchanting conversation, I speak to Cheryl Traub Adler, an artist based in Cape Town about her upcoming solo show called Plant Matters and the many lessons she has learned about the plant kingdom / plant magic.

This episode is about relating to the spirit, body and soul. I speak to Nosana Sondiyazi, a multimedia artist and journalist who speaks to us about the stories that connect us.
