"Prone to Wander, Lord, I feel it."
The words of the hymnwriter ring true to all of God's sheep throughout their sojourn here on this Earth. What draws us back? It may surprise you that the same message the Christian believed to become a Christian in the past has an important place in the present. Do you know how? Listen in to Ryan Bush as Sean and Patke interview him on the gospel. As you anticipate the new year, may your meditations on the gospel continually provide the draw back in times of wandering.

There is a uniquely fascination when we seek to understand evil. One of the most evil characters in all of scripture was Judas Iscariot. How could someone so privileged with seeing Christ betray Him in the end? Beyond that, how could such a person show remorse in the end in the way that he did? The question sometimes gets raised, "Did Judas repent and receive Christ in the end?" Tune in to this fascinating discussion about Judas.

Harsh language is all over the Bible, but how should the Christian deal with it? Some struggle to process it, some choose to reject its message, but one thing is for sure in each instance and each context where something harsh is spoken by the Holy Spirit, it is right. As your hosts engage one particular passage in I Timothy, take a listen to the harsh words Paul tells Timothy. As your hosts bring out the text, may it be that you would marvel at the kindness of God to take drastic measures for the good of those He loves.

Christians have read Jesus' words that we must not cast pearls before swine (Matthew 7:6). This is also spoken in common conversation. But are we sure we know what that means? What's more, Jesus is talking about certain people and calling them pigs. As Sean leads Patke in discussion listen carefully for the meaning of this phrase, why such harsh words were proper to be spoken in the context of Jesus' day, and how this helps us discern who to give the gospel to and how.
