Theological Pipe becomes music pipe again. A couple episodes ago, I started an album review episode. I am looking at the Rolling Stone Top 500 Albums of All-Time and reviewing them, giving my thoughts, and going through the tracks. The first album I reviewed was their #1 album, What's Going On? by Marvin Gaye. This episode I look at #2 on the list - Pet Sounds by The Beach Boys.

In this episode, I dive into, what is in my opinion, one of the greatest songs ever written - My Jesus by Todd Agnew. Question after question that hits like a punch to the gut every time I hear it. It is a 100% theological pipe type song. It makes you stop and question where you are - and that's a good thing.

I fired up Spotify, and listen through Marvin Gaye's 1971 opus - What's Going On? I discuss the tracks and overall album. It was great to take a break and let music, good music, no, great music, do its work.

And our prayers should not be dependent on what party the president claims. God is still in control, too, so there really is nothing to fear.

An appropriate message for MLK Jr. Day (at least I think so).

In this episode, I discuss the cliche saying - when the going gets tough, the tough get going and the possibility it needs to be changed to - when the going gets tough, the tough complain (usually on social media). We need to toughen up and go make our lives what we want and stop whining all the time about every perceived slight and injustice and hardship.
