Today we finish the parable of the unmerciful servant. The servant had just been forgiven an astronomical sum, but has a fellow servsnt thrown in prison for a much lesser amount. Those who have been forgiven much should be quick to give it.

Peter asks Jesus how many times he shoul forgive someone. Jesus gives the interesting number of 70 times 7. The point is we are suppoed to give mercy and forgiveness to others as the Lord has done the same for us.
