Do you have to believe in the Nicene Creed to be an evangelical? What about orthopraxy? Do you have to have good strong family values? Do you have to be reaching others with the gospel? Are these things really unique to evangelicalism?

What should be included in a definition of true evangelicalism? None of us is perfect but what are we supposed to be striving towards? Can we just shed the term evangelical with all its baggage?

What are the greatest strengths and weaknesses of evangelicalism? What are evangelicals known for? Has pop-evangelicalism developed into more a self-help highly produced and glamorous version of the gospel?

With a large portion of the Christian church claiming to be evangelical do we really know what that means? Is evangelicalism dead? The book by Mark Noll, The Scandal of the Evangelical Mind came out in the 90's and caused a lot of people to question thems

If God wants us to believe in him why doesn't he make his existence more obvious? Christians say they can sense his presence in their lives. But isn't this exactly because he is so hidden they have to appeal to some mystical sensability?

The church is supposed to be unified. But how can we be unified if we don't all share the same beliefs? Can we disagree and still be unified? Should all the leadership of a church be unified while the folks in the pews can have differences?
