Theology W/ Coffee

Last month Passover fell on the Wednesday of Holy Week. Passover is intimately tied to the Easter story. In this episode we examine the historical context of the Passover and how it points to the Messiah's first coming, and even his second.

In one of Revelations most dramatic scenes, a warrior wearing robes dripped in blood appears riding a white horse. Who is this rider and how does this scene fit into the larger context of Revelation?

In this week's episode, Taylor and Kelsan will discuss the family of God being redeemed and the marriage supper of the lamb. The great multitude is rejoicing because the White Rider is coming.

In this week's episode, Taylor and Kelsan will discuss Revelation 18. You will meet characters you have already met and several others. John (The author) poetically tells what happens to the great city/empire of Babylon. God avenges his family and justice is served to the wicked. I hope you are ready to dive in!

On this episode, Taylor and Kelsan continue to discuss Revelation 17. They will focus on the beast, the 7 heads, and 10 horns. Who are the 7 & 10 kings? Just jump right in!

We conclude out study of Chapter 16 of Revelation and the seven bowls.

We enter into Revelation 16 to discover the 6 bowls of wrath. We see that God uses creation as judgement. In other words, creation also gets vengeance from the Lord. You will find that John will echo the plagues found in Exodus 7 and Psalm 78. We have seen 1/3rd of God's creation being affected in the seals and trumpets, but now it is the full throttle. Join us as we dive into Revelation 16 Part A: The Bowls of Wrath.

The judgements of the book of Revelation are headed for a dramatic crescendo, as seven angels prepare seven plagues for the earth. As the proverbial knife hangs suspended before the final blow, John pauses the action to give us another glimpse into the heavenly throne room where human and angelic members of God's family alike worship the Lord as they anticipate his final verdict against the wicked. Join us as we jump into Revelation 15, and The Final Call!

The image of a great harvest to illustrate God's final judgment is a common one. Why is this image used so often, and what does this tell us about Revelation? Contact us at [email protected].
