Discipline is an activity that one engages in regularly to train or improve oneself. Spiritual discipline provides a path for transformation. Daily habits are shaping every person. Athletes train their bodies. Musicians, their skills. Students, their minds. Spiritual discipline trains the soul. Without discipline, we remain shaped by culture, distraction, and impulse. With discipline, we allow God to shape our lives intentionally.
Why do so many people resist discipline today? Why do you think distraction is so powerful today? Join us as we explore discipline and how we can grow in it to become healthier followers of Christ.
God calls people to live righteously through three core actions:
Act justly (fairness, righteousness, upholding truth), loving mercy (compassion, grace, kindness, forgiveness, especially to the vulnerable), and walking humbly with God (dependence on Him, modest living, following His ways).
But how does that love reflect when it's your enemy? Your ex friend? Your ex partner? Strangers? Take a dive with us into Love, the greatest gift that God has given us.
God’s purpose for us is to redeem and restore a fallen world through Jesus Christ, forming a people who will live with Him forever in the new creation. He works this purpose out in the present by transforming believers into Christ’s likeness and guiding them to serve Him faithfully through their everyday lives, gifts, and work.
The goal of this series is to help believers embrace and live out their purpose by grounding their identity in Christ, shaping their daily practices after Jesus, engaging the world with a gospel-driven mission, and persevering with hope in every season.

Today we live in the tension between the already and the not yet.
Jesus has ascended, and though He is with us by His Spirit, we still ache for His full presence.
Fasting gives voice to this holy longing and keeps our hearts awake as we await His return. At its core, fasting is not about food—it is about desire. What we willingly give up reveals what we truly value. When we fast, we are declaring that God Himself is our greatest treasure, surpassing even His good gifts.
I.e Food, socials, entertainment....
Fasting is not about being seen by others, but about being honest before God. As we fast, we echo the psalmist's confession that God alone satisfies our souls.
