In our lives we find ourselves in all kinds of valleys... valleys of our own doing, valleys of God's doing. Regardless of how we got IN the valley, and speaking for myself, I know for a FACT God has provided a means of escape (1 Corinthians 10:13) for me! 

But why? Surely, both the valley and the victory serve a purpose, right? 

ABSOLUTELY!! Before we get there though.... remember these 3 things:

1. Be confident

2. Be undaunted

3. Be full of Joy

You are a tree. Deep in your roots you possess everything you need to get to heaven. Every resource, every ability and every fullness is already yours. You just have to become aware of it, embrace it and use it. Your only job is to ROOT yourself firmly in the unconditional love and truth of God.

Many aspiring planetshakers can't help but feel small and insignificant when God gives us a vision - especially one that will change the world. When we are called to big things, we often feel like little people. But when we look at the story of a great oak tree, planted by God, from the tiniest seed, it becomes clear that God doesn't need big things to make a difference - because he is big enough to bring hope and healing to our world through us simply following his lead.

Daniel felt small and insignificant, but it is noted that Daniel had the insight, wisdom, and intelligence of the other gods (Daniel 5:11). How is it that just 5 chapters later, Daniel is feeling insignifant and powerless? Could it be, that Daniel (like us) was in need of reassurance and reminder that he was called to be a mighty oak tree? 

Let's come to the couch and call InnerMe to the carpet and allow God to uproot fear and doubt from our hearts. 

Remember that you have a Divine, planetshaking purpose.

Remember that you absolutely matter to God.

Remember that the choice to take the NEXT step is always YOURS!

God's word tells us in Romans 8:1 "there is now NO condemnation in Jesus"... do you know WHY God doesn't want us to live in condemnation? 

Because we are going to continue to make mistakes.. we are HUMAN! 

Have you found yourself making a mistake and somewhere along the way InnerMe convinces you that only did you make a mistake, but you ARE a mistake? Yea... that would be the result of condemnation! 

God's unconditional love wants to convict us to bring correction, so we can be transformed by our thinking (Romans 12:2). God wants to transform our minds, and all we have to do is get ROOTED in His unconditional love and truth. 

The great part of letting God transform us is then we get to "prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. 

God has a perfect Masterpiece written for each of us, the question is... are we going to let Him transform us, or will we stay ROOTED to the fear, guilt, shame, and doubt?
