Before any stories are told, before any coffee is poured, lets get centered and grounded in sound.
This is the official theme song of Theo’s Coffee Break, composed with deep presence and love by me, Shin Hoo Yong aka Theo, and my partner, Chris Cutting. We crafted this piece using organic, everyday elements from our very real creative life: the wind chime from our patio, the rhythmic snoring of our dog Django, and the warm hiss of our espresso maker brewing a fresh cup of coffee as morning birds welcome us with a new day in our backyard.
Every sound was chosen and calculated with pure intention, even the wind chimes were recorded and reshaped to echo the calm between conversations over our coffee table. Blended with ambient piano and gentle synth textures, this song was designed to center you to bring you to the present with the intention to create space for reflection, connection, and calm curiosity.
This isn’t just theme music, this is the perpetual heartbeat of Theo’s Coffee Break podcast.
So grab your coffee cup. Breathe in. And press play.
