We put so much of our self-worth into whether we are successful or not, which dramatically affects our self-esteem. But God sees success in a completely different view - success lies in our faithfulness.

Do you feel constant pressure to act in a way that is favourable to the world around us? Maybe you’ve fallen into the trap of the lie that everybody needs to like you. Jesus’ whole life was socially against the grain. He didn’t care about pleasing everyone, instead, he gave up all his social virtue in the name of what’s right and that’s what made him worth following. How can you practice that this week?

The lie that our culture tells us is that enough money will make you happy. But it's an endless hunt for fulfilment if it's all that we want. Take a listen to this message and see how you can realign yourself to Jesus' view on finances.

Our culture tries to convince us that a handful of things will make us happy if we chase it hard enough. But what happens when those things actually leave us empty? Jesus has a lot to say about what will and won't leave us fulfilled. What lies are you chasing?

Our culture is all about hustle and being busy is rewarded. But Jesus came and flipped the script. He calls us to rest – to take a sabbath. Sabbath is not so much a law we are bound to as much as it is an opportunity we are welcomed to join by God.
