That is a big question concerning a lot of Bible students. Jesus Christ fulfills an office, a dual office, in the Book of Matthew Chapter 12. One of these days we will go back into the Old Testament and try to explain the order of Melchizedek. Now, that's a story within itself, but we're not going to go there today. We'll start in the New Testament.

Jesus Christ proclaimed himself greater than all the Hebrew rituals of the Old Testament. The Pharisees in Jesus's day said, How dare you profane the Sabbath by letting your disciples eat the ears of corn on the Sabbath. And then he said, Right now you're looking at one that is greater than the temple. He said, One is greater.
