Who?
Rep. Eric Burlison (R-MO) — Member, Congressional UAP Caucus & Oversight Committee
Ask a Pol asks:
Is there a group now above AARO when it comes to UAP disclosure? And has FBI Director Kash Patel opened up files for the UAP caucus?
Key Burlison:
“I want as many agencies investigating this topic as possible,” Rep. Eric Burlison exclusively tells Ask a Pol UAP. “We need AARO, we need the FBI. We need everybody that can investigate this to be investigated.”
Caught our ear:
“I don’t have a direct contact with [FBI Director Kash] Patel,” Burlison tells Ask a Pol UAP.

Below find a rough transcript of Ask a Pol UAP’s exclusive interview with Rep. Eric Burlison (R-MO), slightly edited for clarity.
TRANSCRIPT: Rep. Eric Burlison (3-26-2026)
SCENE: Just ahead of a floor vote, Ask a Pol’s Matt Laslo jog-runs through a marble-clad corridor just off the floor of the US House of Representatives and catches Rep. Eric Burlison right before he walks into the chamber.
Matt Laslo: Is there a group now above AARO when it comes to disclosure?
Rep. Eric Burlison: Not yet.
ML: But you guys want there to be. Yeah.
EB: I don’t know yet.
ML: Because we haven’t really heard much if anything from AARO.
EB: No, I haven’t heard much from them in a while either.
ML: Yeah. But it also sounds like you guys in the UAP caucus kind of left them for the FBI group. Because they just never had your heart or trust.
EB: That — for me that’s not the case. I think that — look, I want as many agencies investigating this topic as possible. Because we need as many perspectives on this. And look — some are going to be a good referee on the other. So I think that — it’s my personal opinion — we need AARO, we need the FBI. We need everybody that can investigate this to be investigated.
ML: Have you just talked with Patel? Like is he opening up files for you all? Luna seemed to hint at that.
EB: I don’t have a direct contact with Patel.
ML: Me neither. Yeah. Appreciate it.
EB: Thank you, ma’am.
