Feature Film: We're talking about the IFD oddity Space Thunder Kids, a hodgepodge anime thing that's actually eight other anime movies that are in themselves kind of rip-offs of other anime, and also there's like a dozen of these. How is that possible? No, really, how is that possible? I'm asking you, because I haven't been able to figure it out for twenty years.

Feature Film: We discuss the original adaptation of the literary classic, Lord of the Flies. It's our favorite subject to talk about - kids being killed! The twist here is that it's kids doing the killing as well. Speaking of, maybe Piggy deserved it? He was annoying, after all. And a nerd. And fat. Yeah, he deserved it.

We defend Elizabeth Berkley and ponder about Penny's From Heaven, and enjoy the wild camp and varying levels of satire in both flicks. T.J. also eventually reminisces about the Total Recall commentary and just how special it is.

Odds and Ends: Are theaters actually dying? We provide thorough and very well-thought out opinions on it, and provide recent experiences on opposite ends of the spectrum. Nick's being a bad crowd during I Saw the TV Glow, and T.J.'s being a great crowd (meaning just him) for The Fall Guy.

Feature Film: Josh returns yet again to talk about his first official normal guest rec, a lesser known Francis Coppola movie, One from the Heart. A sort-of musical that seems influential despite it's relative obscurity, or at least Chazelle and Villeneuve probably watched it maybe.

Odds and Ends: Josh Matthews from the Learning About Movies Youtube channel returns yet again and talks about a project he's working on about A24 movies and asks us if there's any good ones out there; Nick watched the original Godzilla on the big screen, and T.J. watched the equally important Kraa the Sea Monster

Feature Film: We discuss the oddball (in many ways) romantic comedy Little Italy, which is purported to be one of the worst movies ever, or at least of its year, which we refute... to some degree. Josh was excited to finally be on for a dud episode, and in a way, Little Italy didn't disappoint. But also, it definitely did.

Odds and Ends: Happy birthday (again) to us! Only 3 years old, but that's pretty old in podcast years. We're probably old enough to vote by now, or at least watch PG-13 movies.

Feature Films: Continuing our trilogy tradition for our anniversary episodes, we decided to revisit a trilogy from our childhoods, the original Spider-Man trilogy, directed by Sam Raimi. We somehow find a way to push past the memes (trust me, there's a lot) and talk about what these movies meant to us as kids, and what it's like checking back in as geriatrics.

Feature Film: David Cronenberg visits again with his movie A History of Violence, and while it is lacking the body horror he's known for, it's definitely not without another trademark of his - weird sex stuff. Just roll with it, broheem.
