The New York Knicks aren't just beating teams.
They're demoralizing them.
Currently on an 11-0 run as they await the winner of the NBA's Western Conference series between the Spurs and the Thunder, the Knicks closed out their playoff rounds against the Hawks, 76ers, and Cavaliers with series-clinching wins of 51, 30, and 37 points respectively ALL ON THE ROAD.
Granted, the crowds in Philadelphia and Cleveland made it sound as if these games were in Madison Square Garden, but the Knicks have made it abundantly clear that it is championship or bust.
Meanwhile, that sound you heard was Jim Monaghan jumping off the Mets bandwagon (gee, that was quick), and with 40% of the MLB season in the books, the Yankees' biggest need is probably a closer.
