Tell'Em Tina

There's No Reward For That

Listen Later

On this episode I pose the question of why do we feel like we always have to push through? Society and social media has created this culture of making us feel like we are less than if we stop and take a break.

Questions from the episode:

-Why do I push through?

-Who did I learn this from?

-Did I ever receive an award for pushing through?

-Why do I feel like a burden when having to ask for help?

-Who is apart of my tribe that I can depend on when I need help?

-Who can I build a tribe with where we can create a safe space to ask for help?

-What plan can I put into place to help me recognize when I’m ignoring my body’s signals for rest?

-Is this connected to trauma?

-Did someone let me down when I asked for help? If so, who? It may be time to forgive them.

-Does asking for help make me feel too vulnerable?

-Who or what am I proving by pushing through?
