In this episode, I read about Heidi who had a surprising labor story and a less than simple postpartum experience. Heidi's story resonated very deeply with me as I think it will with any listeners. It reminded me that no matter what a labor story looks like on paper, how we feel coming away from the experience is what's most important. And the path we take to heal from that experience is our own.

In this first episode, I share my own personal birth story experience. It was life changing and self affirming, but it was not easy and not what anyone expected it to be. I am so thankful for the experience I had and so happy to share it with you now!
