Meditation is the act of FOCUSING.

The unveiling will celebrate the life and accomplishments of Stephen Smith, who was born into slavery in the North in Lancaster County, PA and upon his release from servitude began a life of business, civil rights activism, abolitionist work and creating a legacy in Philadelphia. Custom Arts Studio’s Lead artist, Keisha Whatley, brought the mural to life in her signature Culture Portrait style with the aid of her assistant, Victoria Cassell and the support of helpful staff and management at Stephen Smith Towers Apartments. The Woman-Owned and operated business completed the mural in 12 weeks. This will be Lead Artist, Keisha Whatley’s fourth completed mural.

Annisa Davis Jackson, Kansas City, Missouri native; Author and Daughter of legendary football player Annise Davis Jr. of the University of Missouri and Pittsburgh Steelers, exposes truth in “Memoirs of a Broken Side”.
