Advanced technology can win wars and the Separatists have themselves quite the weapon in this episode of Star Wars: The Clone Wars. Count Dooku and General Grievous are at the helm of a new ship named the Malevolence. It comes with a new super weapon that is leaving entire Republic squadrons out of commission. It took nine episodes of the podcast, but we're finally on the series premiere of Star Wars: The Clone Wars! In this episode, Yoda heads on a secret mission to the moon of Rugosa but is ambushed by Count Dooku. Will things ever go right for these folks?

Jedi Master Di and local Cham Syndulla are trapped on Ryloth. There's a Separatist offensive that's blocking any help from coming in. The Jedi council send Senator Organa and Jar Jar Binks to Toydaria to as King Katuunko as a supply staging base to help the people of Ryloth. How did we feel about the inclusion of Jar Jar Binks into more Star Wars? And what is up with the various Toydarians and their various accents?

We jump from Star Wars: The Clone Wars theatrical feature released in 2008 all the way to the Season 3 premiere which aired in 2010. This episode takes place on Kamino where we get a glimpse into the training process of the clones. Sometimes the clones really, really suck at the one thing they're literally created to do. In "Clone Cadets" we see what happens when a bunch of crappy clones get grouped together and how the higher-ups deal when bad batches of clones are cooked.

We finally get to discussing the end of Star Wars: The Clone Wars, the theatrical feature! This episode were it released individually would have been titled Castle of Salvation. Ahsoka and Anakin finally arrive to Tatooine with Rotta, but run into Count Dooku on the way to Jabba's. Padme gets involved with her own mission on Coruscant. Yoda and Palpatine have a conversation about supply routes! Exciting stuff!

We continue our discussion of The Clone Wars theatrical feature! This is part two of four in the dissection of the feature.

We finally jump into The Clone Wars, the theatrical feature released on August 15, 2008. The movie is actually comprised of four episodes stitched into one feature, so we decided to discuss each section one at a time. This episode is Part One, The New Padawan.

Lorenzo and Kevin discuss Season 1, Episode 16 of The Clone Wars! This episode being reviewed is The Hidden Enemy and serves as a prequel to The Clone Wars theatrical feature. There's a lot to cover. What happened to various characters from Cat and Mouse? Where did all these other characters come from? Why are the Jedi and Separatists even fighting over Christophsis?

As we finally get to discussing The Clone Wars, we begin with Season 2, Episode 16. Why? Because this episode, "Cat and Mouse" is actually a prequel to the entire series! We discuss the very idea of going back to create a prequel episode in the middle of the second season. We also discuss the oddity of no introductions in watching the series in chronological order by story. How well do we feel this worked? Listen to find out!
