    Venz and Shu reach the Northern edge of the Sharrow. There they find the missing remnant, and some unwanted company.


    Venz discovers Sharrow's fate.

  • Tiding 07: Friends, Un/Accounted For

    C/W: death, dead body


    "Every settlement here has its own ways of celebrating our remnants arrival, because we know that with it comes Spring. That in its tred wildflowers grow like footprints, birds settle to nest and the land begins to warm, ready for the sewing of the year's first crops.Spring spreads through the land in a great circle. The Sharrow's passing is a signal for life to wake. I have spent half a life trying to trace the Sharrow, to give detail to its movements. This is what I know." - Cast


    Under Carn Veskl, the scouting party try to convince Calyn and Madi to move on - before the shadows that haunt the mountain's tunnels claims them. After the meeting the caravan's luck turns. They see signs that they're heading in the right direction. Meanwhile, Venz and Shu are sidetracked from their attempt to find the Sharrow. Belka and Bris tell hard truths, Challa sees a miracle and Venz uncovers a crime.

    The scouting party make friends with the underpeople - the community that calls Carn Veskl home. The caravan holds a meeting to discuss the lost family. Strael makes a move.


    Bris prevents a fight, Challa bargains with Strael and Belka enforces bedtime.

    The world reveals dark omens. The scouting party finds something worrying growing under Carn Veskl - the mountain the caravan approaches. On the surface, a storm's name is revealed, and its intent.
    Belka swaps stories, Challa fights a storm, Venz eases doubts and Bris draws her sword.

  • Tiding 04: The Paths We Choose

    “Even the world itself can catch a sickness, once the wound has festered, hidden, for too long. I wonder now how I didn’t feel the fever burning in its caverns. How I could not see the threads of fate there, cut and twisted out of shape.” - Belka
    The scouting party reaches Carn Veskl's caves and, inside them, find an unexpected presence. Venz, after his encounter with the eagle, decides to take a different path. In the forest below the mountain the storm catches up and Challa tries to guide the stragglers back to the caravan's relative safety.
    Challa leads a dance, Venz flies a kite, Bris takes us below and Belka knocks hello.

    "This is not the first time we've been forced to leave our homes behind. Nearly fifty years ago - before most of us were born - we lived in a different place, way to the west. There, on an island blanketed in colourless fog, our parents and grandparents lived in a town called Brisal. They didn't need to wear veils, their eyes perfectly suited to the shifting shades of mist." - an excerpt from the letters of Jeddah Assum
    As the storm gathers behind it, the caravan heads towards Carn Veskl. There the scouting party hunt for the caves that will give the travellers protection from the winds. The caves that are rumoured to lead out of the Sharrow.
    Bris builds bridges, Venz soars like an eagle, Belka listens to a dead fox and Challa starts a blaze.

    Bris struggles with responsibilities, Challa soothes the weaver, Belka packs for an adventure, Venz decides to stick around - for now. A group is formed to scout the looming mountain, Carn Veskl.

    The first play episode of Tiding - a story of a community doing their best to survive in indifferent landscapes.
    Two weeks ago the people of Ninut fled their homes to avoid a deadly storm, following the mysterious Parish to Etrys. There they wait, hoping for more stragglers to follow them.
    Challa uncovers a strange secret in the basements below Etrys, Bris meets a familiar stranger, Venz searches for flinthooks and Belka discovers stew.
    After a dire warning is shared, the people of Ninut face a difficult decision.

  • Tiding 00: The Breaking of Ninut
    A storm sweeps over the Sharrow, different to any that has come before - haunted, deadly, alive. A caravan flees its wake, formed of the people of Ninut and the mysterious Parish. Leading them a reluctant guardian, outcast storyteller, rebellious kid and an unravelling spiritweaver.
    This is the world building episode for our first season, Tiding - set in a world of broken gods, wild landscapes and living spirits. In it we introduce our setting, rules and characters.
    We’re running a custom Apocalypse World hack, also drawing inspiration from Monsterhearts, Sagas of the Icelanders and The Veil.
