Make closing them early an exception! Try your best to come up with a plan on what to do when your covered calls are red prior to being in the position in the first place. Closing a red covered call early is an emotional trade. I do it too sometimes, but again, just try your best

You can tell a lot about yourself with how you trade, or how you skateboard, or how you sculpt, or how you approach any hobby really.

Make sure you understand the difference between individual trades vs your system!
