There are (and always have been) many perversion of church. The church at Antioch gives a great example of how Christians should work together in the Lord!

The Gospel of Christ is intended to change lives. But how does conversion happens? And who can be changed? Acts 9-10 help us find the answers that we need!

The stories in Acts 8 show us how the Gospel impacted the real lives of real people. Understanding what the Gospel meant for them teaches us what it means for us today.

Acts 7 records the sermon of Stephen and his subsequent execution. The reason(s) why the Jewish Council (and the Jews generally) rejected the Gospel are like the various responses to the Gospel today–it might even be like yours.

When God makes good things happen for his people, the Enemy will use it as an opportunity to present challenges. But those who follow Christ will be ok through it all!

When you follow Jesus, you become a member of his kingdom. When you are part of God’s kingdom, you likely will come under fire from the World. How are followers of Jesus supposed to deal with opposition?

Acts 2:42-47 gives a snapshot-summary of what life in the Kingdom of God looked like in the beginning. All who want to serve King Jesus today should take note, and probably make some changes too.

What gives the Kingdom of God direction and power in the world? The answers found in the first chapters of the book of Acts might surprise you!

This week we start learning from the book of Acts about how to follow Jesus on Earth and how to live as part of his Kingdom.
